This super big, super clean package store was our camping pit stop for IPA, Oktoberfest beer, and just enough bubbly for morning mimosas--successful search all around. This store is equal parts wine, beer, and spirits, and the cold case was huge. Ledgebrook isn't the size of Total Wine, but you'll do just fine here. From the carts in the corral at the front, I found one of those rare, quiet rollers (why aren't these everywhere?) which made it easier to pick a couple more beers to take home after camping. The cart made stock up easy, but the kind staff still offered to help carry it all out. Ledgebrook was a great stop all around, and being in prime leaf peeping area, i shouldn't have been surprised to find maple syrup for sale at the counter. See you guys on my next camping trip!

This is now my go-to spot. I'm very excited to explore my beer horizons here.

Despite that, there seems to be a pretty good turnover of cars at the package store. If you're new or a guest to this particular store, I was actually very impressed with their level of selection and price points. They have a lot of liquor, so plenty of variety and a good chance of finding something new. The wine is priced from $10 to much more "fancy" prices. It's definitely fun to poke around here! Everyone on staff is friendly, personable, and goes above and beyond the call of even superior customer service to be helpful. Due to the proximity of the event venue, they provided us with convenient & free delivery (do you know how RARE this is? And if you are planning a wedding, it's an absolute necessity.) Craig, the owner, helped me pick out a great selection based around my budget. They also allow you to return what you don't consume for a refund. Overall, they provide a fantastically convenient and professional service for event planners in Glastonbury & the area. I have also been to the shop itself a few times - I can't tell you how accommodating this cozy little place is. I'd been rushing around making my wedding plans, and by the time I stopped there for a gift I had to pee like Seabiscuit - they totally do NOT have a public resty but welcomed me to use it, just the same. They were setting up for their busier hours (Sat hours) and a wine tasting, plus they were also sampling a special new Tequila (I mentioned to Tom, the sales Mngr. on staff at the time, who graciously offered me a nice big pour - very tasty to sip.) I wound up taking home a nice bottle of wine for me. Such a great little hidden gem. I'll go there from now on whenever I'm in the area. Great for a recommendation if you don't know what to get someone.
