While visiting the Newmar factory, we explained our dilemma to the staff and they recommended Mast Service Center. We called them and explained that we were on the road and needed a front end alignment and or repairs and they made arrangements to get us in immediately. They did a thorough inspection of the motorhome, found numerous damaged parts, emailed us a detailed inspection report which included photographs as well as descriptions and estimates for the cost of each item that they found needing attention. Because we live full-time in our motorhome, they worked with us doing work on the coach all day long and releasing the coach to drive back to the Hoffman Lakes RV park each evening. We did this for several days as they completed repairs, and obtained the parts necessary for the repairs. We spoke with our service rep, Jalynn, several times a day as he called us to keep us posted on progress. At the end of the repair, when it was time to pay the bill, we found that the final bill was very close to the estimate that we had approved prior to any work being done. Now, having driven the motorhome for two full driving days, I can see that there is a huge improvement in the handling of the motorhome, and we are very happy with the work that we had done at Mast Service Center. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone operating a heavy vehicle that needs any kind of service.

I responded to received advertisement offering free winter inspection. I was "on the alert mode" during the process, due to behavior of 2 man working in the front/office. As presented on attached estimate, I was informed that my car needs a replacement of rear breaks with the routers. Provided cost for this job was $512.71. Later I verified price for the parts if I would choose to move forward, which is approximately $170. I checked condition of my brakes with 2 other shops resulting in the same evaluation: all my brakes are in perfect condition (almost new}. 2nd issue presented to me was leak from Valve Cover Gasket. Replacement of that gasket was priced for $712.77. I check that cost with other shop. Quoted price was $200. Ironically my car didn't need that job as well. The mechanic "doing this inspection" sprayed some fluid excessively, to provide visual evidence. Afterword I monitored level of my oil, especially after longer trips. The level of my oil was and is perfect. After cleaning the fluid sprayed by Skiles Automotive mechanic, there are no more stains under my hood. One of the mechanics re-inspecting my car expressed " that this is outrage and insult to the industry". I agree with 1,000% intensity. I don't know how many people in this shop are involved in this stilling. I had dealing with 3 workers: Joey Garcia ; Service Advisor, Tim Wrightsman : Service Advisor and the mechanic. I am expressing my very sincere compassion to those who were taking advantage off by those "crooks". I would not feel save even park my car there.

Been a loyal customer to this place for the past 5-6 years and for much of that time they operated…read moreunder the name Burnworth-Zollars. I never had a real problem during that time. I always thought they did good work and we were loyal to them, literally took our car there for every single thing (with exception of purchasing new tires), all oil changes and maintenance work and bigger jobs as well. We not only trusted them, we recommended them. When the place became Metz Auto, things started changing. For the most part the changes were minor, such as: the format of our invoice, the process of scheduling & receiving communications. But then something changed in December and when we come now for service repairs, we are dealing with Jason. It's my understanding he's the owner. He doesn't give cost estimates, even though he's legally required to do so. So.. we have no idea what we're expected to pay until work has already completed. Which, of course, creates an issue. Seems to be running the place into the ground and at this point it seems like a textbook scam. He admitted he thinks it's the responsibility of the customer to find out the price, and he has no obligation to tell the customer the cost of an estimate before starting repairs. Even after repairs are done, no parts or labor breakdown now. I get a paragraph of whatever he's typed up. Meaning, there's no part number or itemized cost for parts, no code for the service rendered or labor charge - just whatever he felt like typing up, I guess. They held my car hostage last night/today until I paid the amount they said I owed, even though I had never agreed to pay that amount. And they certainly have no proof that I did. They then called the cops on us because we were rightfully mad, refusing to leave without our vehicle. The cops witnessed the scam take place, considering I did in fact pay the full amount in order to leave with my vehicle. There are consumer laws to protect people from this type of thing, as it's deceptive and fraudulent. And I don't understand why he would want to do business in such a manner. Read negative reviews from the past 10 months! They all pertain to how he is treating people horribly & doing sketchy business. I saw another review that mentioned he does a lot of fast-talk and it's absolutely true, he does. This is how he conducts business in Smalltown, USA where reputation matters. This is how he treats loyal customers. He should be ashamed, but instead he had a smile on his face most the time. And I'm sure Metz will reply to this, because I see they are very performative. Cops' advice was to contact a lawyer. Don't worry, I'm on it! Maybe if everyone joins me in making claims to the BBB & attorney general this guy will get a clue. Consumers actually DO have rights, per the law. Which I cited to Jason and the cops (yes, plural), numerous times.
