Went in here today due to a loud exhaust noise coming from the bottom of my engine. I booked an…read moreafternoon appointment with Gord to have it looked at. I was running about 30 minutes late, so I called in, and he said it would not be a problem--that was nice of him. Upon getting there, I had to wait up to 30 minutes before my vehicle could be brought into the service bay--they apologized for the delay. They have a restroom, TV, and complimentary coffee while you wait, a nice touch. Once my vehicle was looked at, Gord (Owner/Manager) told me it was a leak in one of the pipes, and gave me an estimate of over $200. I asked to look at the problem area and he motioned the mechanic to show me. The mechanic was really friendly and explained all the details to me of what was wrong and how it will be repaired--very informative. $200 seemed a bit steep to just weld a part into the exhaust, and I asked Gord if he could provide any discount, but he wasn't open to providing anything further. At any rate, it was great they could repair it right away and the mechanic went to work. He then happily showed me the completed repair, a really nice job I should mention! Be aware that this place charges $96 per hour for labour, which is a bit less than surrounding Midas locations, and considerably less than the dealerships. They get pretty busy, and they told me they are presently booking appointments a week in advance....so if you're in a rush to get some work done, you should first call up these guys instead of just walking in.

I find they are personable, professional and pleasing the customer comes first. On late Thursday afternoon I needed a safety check on my car. They were about to close and as I told them of my urgent need they went out of their way to accommodate me and fit my car in the next day at 8 am. a Friday and they were very busy, but still made it possible.
