He evaluated the injury (not too bad), treated with ultrasound and massage, and gave me stretches and exercises to do. All this for less than the price of a massage. When I continued following my training schedule, I still felt a little discomfort, so he continued the treatment and gave me some more strengthening exercises. After about a week all the discomfort was gone and I was able to resume normal training. I even set a PR at a corporate track meet this past weekend and on a half-marathon training run this morning, and feel in great shape for the upcoming marathon.
