It has an old-school diner feel similar to Pitt Grill, but smaller (since it's connected to a drug store and all). The breakfast food is fantastic, especially the egg, ham and cheese sandwich, hash browns, grits and bacon. The lunch menu includes things like meat loaf, red beans and rice and chicken fried steak. They also have special items every day of the week. Everything is made right in front of you--sort of like a down home Subway--so you know it's freshly cooked. They also take orders over the phone. The staff is pretty friendly as well.

I've gone in there several times to try to fill a prescription and I've gotten grief every time. I give up. While holding a prescription from a doctor, on my last visit, I was told that they would only fill this drug for people under 18. Never my life have I ever heard of a drugstore with holding a prescribed medication from someone based on age.

I went here to make a return for Lands End. I drove over an hour to do it, since it was the…read moreclosest Sears I could go to that can accept a Lands End return. I was unsure of how to return it. The sales associate told me I needed to have a slip for the sale. The item was 3 yrs old (Yay for Lands End's warranty that they were willing to take the return when the zipper broke... my teenaged son didn't start using the backpack till this fall...). I didn't have the slip, so I took a second to have my son send me a copy of the slip (via text message) for the replacement backpack I'd just bought. The sales associate started making fun of me with the other sales associate, berating me within hearing distance about how stupid I was for expecting I could do this without proper paperwork. Yeah, maybe I should have had it, but I admit to ignorance on the process. What irritated me most was that they had the gall to talk about me while I was still in hearing distance... in a disdainful way, no less. I went to a different register to return the thing once I had the text photo I needed. That sales associate was equally aloof, and when I returned with a Lands End associate on the phone who wanted to help the Sears associate walk through the return, she refused to make eye contact with me, rolled her eyes while talking to the next associate, and completely ignored me. The next associate was not successful either. That part I do not cast any blame for, since I guess the Lands End sales in the system are time limited. I can accept that. As of the typing of this review, for some reason the store is marked as "closed". It's not. But in my lifetime I cannot remember ever having been treated with as much disdain and disrespect as I was given at this location. I might not have been the sharpest crayon in the box on this day while trying to return my item (unsuccessfully), as I had not tried a Lands End return prior to this date, but I did not enjoy the treatment I received from the sales associates. Talking about me disrespectfully while I was still in hearing distance was enough for me. It's no small wonder that this chain of stores is dying. Customer service used to mean something at Sears. I wanted to shop the sales items but after this experience, I was happy just look at this store in my rearview mirror. Mark it as closed in your book just like Yelp has, and shop somewhere you will receive better customer service. Anywhere else can provide you that.

I have been visiting the automotive team at Sears for over a year as I try and replace part after part on my 2004 Jeep liberty and each time has been just as good, if not better than the previous. The team is patient and very knowledgeable about what they do and have yet to steer me wrong in repairing my vehicle. While I can not speak about the other two reviewers on here who seemed to have bad instances with the store, I believe it to be one of the best, if not 'the' best, auto centers in town, and this is after having over a year of work done on my Jeep there. Shout out to Antonio and Steven for always helping me out there and making sure I understand everything before leaving.

I was getting "real" glasses for the first time. I had been wearing readers for years, but I…read moreFINALLY went to the eye doctor and found I had both close up and distance vision issues. Long story short - the doctors office, where I got my prescription made a HUGE error of entering my prescription into their system, so what printed out and was taken to Vision 4 Less was an erroneous prescription for me I had two pair of glasses made and could only see clearly out of my right eye. When I covered my left eye, I could see great! But, without covering my left eye, I was so dizzy with the wrong prescription, I thought I was having a stroke when I drove away. I turned around and the VERY professional and kind staff at Vision 4 Less rechecked everything. We determined that the prescription (in the left eye) was wrong and they gave me a note to take to my eye doctor for a recheck. Well, the eye doctor's office manager caught the mistake before I had to go in for a recheck. Someone erroneously entered a negative sign, which should have been positive. SO, I drove back to Vision 4 Less and they were waiting for me and treated me so well. What was a stressful situation was made pleasant due to the manager and staff at Vision 4 Less on McArthur Drive in Alexandria LA. I can't give a better rating. They are ALL so professional and good at what they do. Keep up the excellent work!!!
