I received a reckless driving - class 1 misdemeanor which is a serious criminal offense with potential penalties of 6 DMV points, a fine of $2,400, a jail sentence of 12 months, and a license suspension of up to 6 months. I was worried because I also had my very first speeding violation 2 years ago at another state while on a travel assignment. I am glad I found Mr. Leavitt who is professional and understands where I was coming from. Mr. Leavitt got Judge Bain (Brunswick General District Court) agreed to reduce my reckless driving 77/55 misdemeanor charge to a simple speeding violation (not reckless, not a misdemeanor). Please do not speed everyone. Life is too precious. But if you need a traffic violation lawyer, I do recommend Mr. Leavitt. Mr. Leavitt and Judge Bain; thank you.

He quickly and professionally assessed my case (85 in a 70) and my driving record and gave me an honest appraisal. During our phone conversation, he made clear his expectations and his plan in court. I had great confidence in him and I never had to set foot in the court room. He called me right after the case and gave me the great news that he had been even more successful than expected. If you have a speeding or reckless driving ticket, call Daniel Leavitt, you will not be disappointed.

I went to him, after searching and talking to 7 different law firms, and he took my case on and reassured me in every way possible. I was desperate and clueless, and he was so easy to talk to and helped me through the process. even his assistant was so sweet and kind and listened to my rambling! I value honest people. I value honest work and not people who try to rip you off. He was very fair priced and had amazing communication. :)

I made the mistake of trusting Paul to represent me during a legal case that occurred at the height of the pandemic. He showed up **minutes** before my trial started, completely unprepared, and had the audacity to ask *me* to remind him about the details of my case. I'm sorry, aren't *you* supposed to be the one who knows my case inside and out? It was painfully obvious he hadn't done his homework, and I was left feeling like I was defending myself. After the trial, instead of a debrief or any real guidance about the outcome and how it would affect me moving forward, Paul just vanished into thin air. He didn't explain the implications of the court's decision, didn't offer any help for future issues, and left me completely in the dark. Years later, when complications arose from the case (which I could have been prepared for if he had actually done his job), I tried to contact him repeatedly--via email, phone calls, and voicemails. You'd think a lawyer with *any* sense of duty would respond, but no. Paul Galanides straight-up ghosted me, leaving me to deal with the fallout on my own. Save yourself the stress, the frustration, and the disappointment--**do not hire Paul Galanides**. He's not just a bad lawyer; he's a lawyer who actively makes your life harder by ignoring you when you need him most. Absolutely unprofessional and a total waste of time and money.
