We recently arrived for an appointment and we were met by a very loud and aggressive receptionist. Typically in a doctors waiting area you want to keep personal information a little on the reserved side, but her approach and demeanor were very acerbic and discomforting. She was very bossy and not very patient. My parents are getting on in age and need a little extra time to comprehend paperwork, signed documents, etc. She was very flip and not at all sympathetic to the situation. There needs to be a little more "care" demonstrated with regards to this Eye Care office.

However, I've been going here for years now, and the same three secretaries are rude and short every single time I call. They act as if the patients are beneath them and are interrupting them. Dr. Shirley is the only reason I continue to go and sadly, because of the people answering the phones, this patient is barely hanging on by a thread.
