I walked into this Drs office today and I was beyond amazed. My appt was at730 and Dr Hammersma came out to get me himself! He sat and went through so much with me that I was beyond blessed to have him as my Dr. The entire staff was so kind and so incredibly nice! I was in and out in a little over an hour! Back in California it would have been 3 hours minimum! I am so appreciative of the care and concern I was shown today! Thank you to Dr Hammersma and his wonderful staff! I could not be happier!

This is not a place that will "care" for you. They will talk down to you, use you and provide no explanation other than "because I said so". I heard people talking, walking by, and doors closing. I dozed off for a bit. No one checked in with me. When I left I was somewhere between tears and anger. I didn't want to cause a scene because I also deal with this office professionally. (You can guess which one is professional) I request mutual patient records on a regular basis several times by fax, and voicemail messages days and weeks prior to deadlines to give the office adequate time. I frequently have to call the patient and ask them to call or stop into the office themselves because I don't get a reply. They are unpleasant, unresponsive, and unreliable. They recently left me a message regarding my status as a patient asking me if their office is still listed as my primary care. I am still waiting to call them back.

She immediately put me on some medication, that, after a while, didn't improve my situation much. She was right on it. Not willing to allow me to just sit idly by, suffering. Got more aggressive with my medication. I appreciate a Dr. Who takes my pain & discomfort seriously. Also, on a personal note, she always takes my vitals, not delegating that duty to a nurse.

I'm not sure of the situation now, but I'm glad I have a doctor - and his very responsive staff. The office staff are very kind. Dr. Zhang's nurse, Connie, is incredible. She is caring, persistent in trying to reach me, and always available. Dr. Zhang is also kind, and thoughtful, and easy to schedule an appointment with. I do wish there was not a tv in the waiting room - I am not interested in that noise. Other than that, easy access, attentive detail to MyChart, and kind, thoughtful staff.

My girl and I have shared the same internist for at least the past couple of decades here…read more Earlier, it was James Carter, now retired, and now it is Jonathan Crooks. We have generally been pretty satisfied with the services at this office. Both Drs. Carter and Crooks have done a great job taking care of us and referring us to specialists, if needed.
