We are grateful that my new podiatrist, Dr. Cynthia Marzouka-Losito referred us to Dr. Z. Rafael Abad since it is not easy to get a first time appointment with doctors as a recent arrival in Miami...I found many doctors didn't accept our health insurance, were not accepting new patients, had moved far away from where we now live or were fully-booked until 2025! Everyone we met at Dr. Abad's office was polite, friendly and kind including the following people: Amanda checked us in and did the blood draw and collected the urine cups. Lilian conducted my EKG. Maria gave me the referral for a mammogram and an ultrasound. Dr. Abad was also polite and friendly and patiently took the time to ask my son and me questions about our individual medical health history and current health situation. The office was very clean and welcoming as well as professional. Thanks!

Dr. Elliot Dinetz is truly the best doctor. I've had many health issues throughout my life and…read morewasted money and countless hours with treatments and medications that quite frankly placed band aids on the problems rather than fix them. My first visit with Dr. Dinetz proved that I was with the right doctor. Finally a doctor willing to do the work to find the source of my problems and find solutions together that would work towards improving my overall health. The level of care and detail he provides is like no other. I never realized it was possible for me to feel and look this great inside and out. I honestly didn't know any better until I met Dr. Dinetz. It's an entire lifestyle change that I am grateful for and preventative measures that possibly saved my life. Not to mention the added benefits of the weight I've lost, how great my skin is looking and other things I've been self conscious about for years lol. Doctors like him are the future of medicine. I've come such a long way thanks to his care.

I would NOT recommend going to this guy. Even before I met him, I had concerns. I overheard him…read moretalking to patients on the phone, and about patients with his staff very rudely. He seemed pompous. Then when I met him, something was definitely "off." He did not seem like someone who cared- I did not feel safe and i questioned whether he was an actual MD. He is not like any I've been to. The initial intake was $1000, then they took blood work and did not let me know it would be another $1000 and then gave me a $500 list of supplements I should purchase from them. Then he offered a "precision plan" which was $12k for 6months for essentially just checkups. My assessment was that this guy doesn't really care about getting people healthy (regular, not wealthy people) but rather preying on people who are dumb enough to fall for all these costs. I got out of there as soon as I could. After I read the reviews about him and that reinforced everything my gut was telling me. Wish I would have read them before wasting $1000 on a consult. This is predatory medicine for people without insurance.

My first visit was at another location but I did meet Dr. Mas and was pleased with her care. She took the time to review and explain everything thoroughly. Today's appointment was at her main office. I wasn't too happy when they changed locations last minute, as office is way farther from my house and appointment was during traffic hour, but I had no choice. Made it right on time but was not pleased when I was the only one waiting in lobby and it still took them 20 minutes to bring me inside. After 1.5 hr drive, trust and believe I didn't want to keep on waiting. Was seen by same technician, whom is attentive and explains as he completes the ultrasound. Doctor was not in so I was told she will call me once she is. Lady at front desk was a different story, she certainly didn't have the personality for that position. In conclusion, pleased with technician (Oscar) and the doctor (but definitely bummed out I made a long drive for today's appointment and didn't see her) but the front desk needs attitude adjustment and they should offer valet or regular parking validations.

I really like her a lot .However, I rated the Kendall baptist office 2 stars because of the office staff. They are unprofessional and don't show any interest in keeping Dr. Mas patients happy. They make mistakes with appointment dates and then don't accept that they made the mistake and make it seem like you are mistaken. I've been waiting to see dr Mas for a year to follow up with my daughters appointment in August and they keep pushing my appointment offering me one in February 2016. As if my daughters heart condition is just another routine check up. Spoke to Nerania on the phone a couple times and I got nowhere with her. Asked her to ask dr Mas a question and three weeks past and no call back . Giving me suggestions without asking dr Mas. She wanted to cancel my appointment from the day before because it seemed as if my child had no other option than to go to Miami children's and be sedated just for her echo without asking the dr....She also called to reschedule my appointment because she stated dr Mas was running two hours behind (after planning and waiting for this appointment for a long time ) . Once Again our appointment for pushed. Sadly I decided to go to another cardiology that is willing to see me daughter sooner. I believe it's unacceptable how the staff handles patient scheduling . I understand dr Mas is a busy provider but they should consider the child's diagnosis and medical condition and parents concern before brushing them off. I also asked if I can be placed in a list to be called if any one cancelled or if I can call to check and they said no that they don't do that. It's a shame top of the line provider but bad office staff. Being a professional nurse and Having worked many years for a medical office I would never treat patients this way. Patients should always feel as they matter.
