The cardiologist wanted two tests done: a carotid ultrasound and an echocardiogram. About two weeks before the ultrasound was scheduled, I called Anthem to see what the costs for all of these would be. The agent was unable to tell me due to not having the medical code. So, I called the offices instead. I told each that I did not want the procedures done if I couldn't afford them. The ENT billing dept quoted about $600, so I cancelled the MRI. When I spoke with the cardiologist billing dept, they quoted about $350 for the remaining two tests. Then, about a week before, they cancelled the echocardiogram due to coverage issues (I believe) and said nothing about the cost of the ultrasound -- leading me to believe the quote they provided was accurate. Fast forward to when I received the bill -- $955. Now the office is refusing to work with me, saying that I should have been informed of the cost and since the test was performed there's nothing they can do. I cannot afford the bill and told them beforehand that I did not want tests done that I couldn't afford. AND I found out that the carotid ultrasound was not covered either, due to my deductible. So here I am unable to pay and don't think I should have to. I have reached out to the office three times by phone and messaged them to get it resolved. No one has emailed, left a voicemail, or responded. I have also contacted my insurance company.

The doctors, nurses, physicians assistants, and nurse practitioners are always knowledgeable about my condition and are always concerned with my well being. Dr. Brian Schietinger MD is one of the most kindest genuine doctors I know. His kindness makes a difference in how well I take care of myself because it matters to him and his staff. I just want to say thank you.

I told Dr Junpaparp that on last visit to hospital, the past doctor said mother had no flex in throat. My Mother was 92 with bad health, had severe dementia, congenitive heart disease, kidneys failing, and danger of clots ( she had clots a couple of months prior). Mother was frail, 100 lbs. Past doctor did not want to do further tests and put her through that. That was his exact words. HE was a good doctor (Dr Williams). Dr Junipaparp does not listen!!!!!!! She ordered a swallow test and didn't even tell nurse ahead of time. She did not explain procedure to me. Mother came back from test with Chalk around her mouth. Mother was not acting right. I'm wondering if she had a stroke. Nurse said Mother did not do well. They could not finish test. Then I found out they tried to get Mother to swallow chalk. Smdh. Why would a "so called" doctor order that test on a 92 year old??? Mother said she wanted to go home after that test. That was one of her last sentences. Mother came home with hospice and passed away a month later. I would never recommend Dr Parichart Junpaparp MD."
