Beware anyone using Brockford accident repair centre's courtesy car…read more Make sure you get the car checked when you return it. Do not let them fob you off saying it's dark and raining so they will check it the next day. They get you to sign saying this is ok, with you knowing that there is no damage on the car you have just returned, so you sign it quite happily. 3 days later we have had a call saying the car is dented and that they want £80+vat to fix it. Dropped the car off Friday before they closed, and even though they open on Saturday, the car wasn't checked until Monday morning!! Rung them up discussed it in length, then asked to speak to the manager as was getting nowhere. He was out so would call me back later. Instead of doing this, he rings up our insurance company and notifies them of what's happened and starts a claim!! I rung back after hearing the insurance company had left a message on my other half's phone. I speak to the lady again saying it's totally out of order and disputing the whole incident, and then ask to speak to the manager again. He is busy and will call back in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later, he calls back and in conversation says that there is no proof that it happened while we had the car, and that it was just as possible that it could of happened in the yard over the weekend. I brought up the fact that there had been at least one person drive it since we dropped it off to them, as it got moved into their compound. This still made no difference! He then said his intention was not for us to feel that he'd forced our hand, but obviously going straight to the insurance company had done this, and we had no option other than to pay it. We are now out of pocket £96 for damage that we suspect was done over the weekend!! Make sure they check the car whatever the weather, or time of day you take it back.

Gave him a call as couldn't get the car started. He came and diagnosed the starter motor was the…read moreproblem. A new one was ordered and he came back 2 days later to fit it. Whilst taking most of the engine apart, he discovered that the wiring loom was burning!! He came back the next day fitted the loom and the new starter motor. He was brilliant and a proper mechanic, he was knowledgeable and chatty and got the job done. If we ever (hopefully not) have problems again he will be the first person we call. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a really good mobile mechanic.

It isn't a discount MOT place so you do pay full price for the MOT, bit at least you know they are not gonna rip you off like some of the cheaper places do. Really happy with the service and advice I was given about my other car, to the point where I will be taking it there next month when the MOT is due on it as well. Whilst I was there I spoke to them about tyres for my other car and gave me advise about tyres that save fuel on car that do a lot of milage. Needless to say I will be having these fitted next month. A fantastic service centre with fantastic customer service.
