I reported a problem to the broker Claire Campbell about a shady deal one of her agents did and was…read morefluffed off and told "oh I'm sure you will sell it" Shaan Khullar approached me about purchasing a property for cash and a 14 day closing and I agreed. He sent over the contract through docusign and we signed it. After several days I asked the closing attorney if they had received it and they had not. Shaan then said he would need to do financing and I agreed. Just as quickly he changed it back to cash but wanted to extend the closing 2 weeks and again I said fine. The closing processor said she still hadn't received the contract so I reached out to Shaan and these are the text I received: "Hey Scott, I just talked to my partner about it and he said that for us to be comfortable on this deal we'd have to be lower on the price since we are taking a risk by renting it out." "We would still be paying cash but I think we would have to be closer to 180" This is $25,000 lower then the agreed upon price for no other reason then what he stated above. Honesty, integrity and good faith are what Realtors stand for and he showed non of that. He tried to coerce a $25k discount for no other reason then greed. I told Mrs. Campbell I would be ashamed to have him represent my brokerage. I will also be reporting this to the Real Estate board and requesting a hearing.
