About an hour goes by I reach out to ask if they were still coming she says yes they got held up at Lowe's and will be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes go by I start to call to cancel the appointment but saw them pulling in my drive way. The wife came in greeted me & appeared apologetic the husband "handyman" stood behind very stand off & seemingly annoyed. He came in my home I extended my hand and he was reluctant. Brushed it off showed them upstairs to the office and kids bedroom and what I needed done. I asked how long the service would take. Initially we agreed on 2-3 hours now it was 4-5 hours and they we're over an hour late. When I challenged the timeframe, the husband then abruptly blurted out "I don't need this!" Instructed his wife to grab his tools & I followed them out of my home. I felt very uncomfortable with them in my home esp the husband. He seem very unhinged & I smelled alcohol on him as he was leaving. They also left my office a mess. Don't leave ANYTHING to weaver!

I went with J.O.N. Construction, Inc. to install a new roof, new gutters, and repair siding on my…read morehome. I worked with David P. and Kyle E. who both were very thorough and professional. The cost of the new roof was competitive, in fact somewhat lower than other companies that I looked into. During the roof installation a worker came completely through the ceiling (NOTE: The roof was in very poor condition.) David P. immediately called and a contractor came out to access the damage. The contractor, Mike, was friendly, thorough and worked with my busy schedule to fix the ceiling - he did a very nice job. The roofers for J.O.N. were friendly, fast and their cleanup was thorough. The entire roof installation took one day. The major issue I had was with the company that was subcontracted to install the gutters, J&J Seamless Gutters. Albeit, they did a good job and quick work, the cleanup was awful. Large rusty nails were left everywhere! With having a 12-month old grandson, my concern is now having him or a pet play in the yard. I expressed my concerns a few times with David P. who came out with a large magnet to pick up any nails he could find. The fact that J&J was subcontracted via J.O.N yet didn't match their professionalism should be looked into more by J.O.N. The only constructive criticism is I have is that J.O.N. could have been more communicative after emailing their initial estimate and should subcontract companies that match their professionalism; hence the reason 4 out of 5 stars was given. Overall my experience with J.O.N. Construction, Inc. was great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for their roofing and siding needs.

Our house is not a cookie cutter house, but has lots and lots of nooks and windows which stick out and so on and so on. The crew did a fantastic job making the siding fit perfectly everywhere. Along the way we discovered a few minor and a few major issues (rotten wood, random electric wires where they shouldn't have been etc.), and they fixed everything without making price adjustments. One major issue was dealt with quickly and with a very fair price adjustment. All in all I am so happy to have found a fair and reliable contractor in our new city. The total price was right in the middle of several offers we got. I will be using them again for a few more projects.

He mentioned some of the pitfalls that do it yourselfers and unprofessional installers fall into and cause problems later that he has to come out and charge to repair for the homeowner. I'm a very handy person. I was gonna tackle it myself, but in hindsight, I couldn't be happier that I left it to a professional. I'm gonna suggest and recommend Allentown Fence Repair to any of my relatives or friends that need fence work. These guys are awesome!
