My daughter had so much fun with the employees and other kiddos! I opted to sit downstairs which is louder, but there is a quiet work/study space upstairs for additional cost. Before we left I also ordered food to go from Shorty's Deluxe. Childcare and food all in one Highly recommend Mulberry Lane for all the parents!

But Mulberry Lane is a notch above bc not only is it a play cafe but there is staff there to watch your lils while you get to go elsewhere within the building whether that's in the lil tables visibly nearby or in one of their neighboring and partnering restaurants. I'd toootally get my kids memberships if we lived nearby. Since we probably would only go weekends for an hour or two, I'm glad there are the options for one time pay or multi hour passes for future use. Since we weren't sure if we'd be back, we gave it a try for one hour. Prices may change but our first time was $18 per child per hour. This may seem high for only one hour, but my kids had fun and my hour without worrying about them or being interrupted was very productive so it was worth it. Staff are friendly. I only wished they had gluten free options for the kiddos to enjoy after their play. Guess we can bring our own next time! :)

There are some glitches, but overall I had to give this hotel five stars because the people are so…read morekind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotel is really beautiful and there is nothing I like more than a courtyard. This area is well-maintained and very relaxing. It also is a great space to wait to get into the restaurant and bar associated with the hotel. The rooms are very attractive and well laid out. The rooms are also specious and updated. The only problem is the shower which is slippery and has no bar. It also takes a few minutes for the water to warm up. One of the most wonderful aspects of the hotel is that if a room is ready you do not have to wait for the check-in time. What a great way to run a business!!! Parking is about fifty dollars a night. But if you want to leave late there is no extra charge. The hotel also gives you a twenty-five-dollar credit for Home Grown - the breakfast restaurant associated with the hotel. The people who run this hotel make you feel like you are important and they want you to stay without squeezing every penny from clients by adding extra costs. Old Town, Alexandria, is charming with several small museums, lots of boutiques and small shops, and great food. The people are not so friendly, but the service sector makes up for that. Additionally, the trolley and buses are free, and the Metro is close by.

Service: it was very busy but appreciated the bouncer outside that made sure it wasn't over capacity. We had a short wait outside then a longer line emerged. Inside, the bartenders were busy but it wasn't like a 20 mins wait or anything. Note that the kitchen closes at 10pm and they won't let anything slide in at 10pm... Food: no food but the drinks were on point! I would laminate the menus because it was pretty beaten up. I know it's a pop-up but with drinks and food - those paper menus get gross. Definitely a fun vibe and people had the best holiday cheer. Would recommend!
