Terrible experience. I was trying to get a quote. The person answering the phone answer from a…read morespeaker phone. She did fix that when asked. I told her I wanted a quote and that I am a current State Farm customer, she took my information, had me spell my name, etc. and she puts me on hold to see who is available. I'm waiting, waiting, waiting and the receptionist comes back. The would be agent, who knows I am already a State Farm customer, won't talk to me, and clearly has given the receptionist a list of additional questions to ask. I ask if that's what has happened and receptionist confirmed yes. Receptionist was trying, but really? You have a current customer wanting additional insurance and to transfer policy from another State, but you make the receptionist be the middleman? I state no thank you, this is not a good start that I've now spent all this time on the phone already, been on hold, none of the agents will take my call, making receptions play a game of messenger - can't imagine how they will deal with claim issues, say thank you and hang up. Few minutes later, suddenly the agent does have time and calls me - but says, "oh, I see you called, we must have been disconnected." really ? now you are going to lie to me about what just happened on top of being unresponsive? NO WAY. This is how you treat someone trying to give you money and I should think you will help if I have a claim? righttttt

I have been with Teresa for 18 years. She was my agent when I was single, in college, and now…read moremarried with kids. She always remembers me and it feels like a group of friends when I call the office. I actually live in Rochester but that has never hindered our working relationship.
