This place has so much going for it, that I wish I could have given it five stars. It's clearly…read morepopular with the locals, which is imperative in a small town. It has a great theme with the wooden spoons everywhere, cool old tin panels in the ceiling as well as the burlap bags. You order at the counter, pay and get your numbered wooden spoons which you place in a glass milk carton at the table you choose while awaiting your food. There is plenty of brick inside the restaurant which is always something I like. The woman who took or order said that the owner had bought the place behind them and they were blowing out the wall in between the two establishments so the kitchen can service two places. Sounds good right? The problem we had was that the breakfasts we got were not hot, I mean barely warm. My sunny up eggs were barely done, still alot of clear in the whites. My two halves of toast were put together, butter to butter. The second pieces together for my entire meal I was going to put marmalade on after I had finished all but them. The butter had not even melted into the toast, it was still whole butter. Everything tasted quite good, but it has to be hot. We would certainly return, but it fell just short of the mark. Too bad!

Food was awesome! Soup of the day was minestrone and it was super hearty. My partner had the Cuban…read morepanini and it was also very good. He got the Tiger Spiced Chai, and I got the Honey Nut Latte. I will say my latte could have used a bit more flavor - it was a little bitter, but that could just be their bean blend. It was still pretty good though. Prices were also good! The atmosphere is very nice with the blend of rustic touch and modern features. Loved all the spoon decor.

Foodwise, it s a very casual bistro style cafe, famous for their various kinds of hot dogs with interesting toppings. My choice for today: French Onion Dawg! Overflowing with garlic butter, caramelized onions, Monterey Jack, parmesan!! How can it go wrong! I really love their Hot Dawg Buns, its of the texture of a French Brioche!! Village Greek Salad: one word FRESH!! This is a very fun place to be and also if you want to relax and sit outside they have arranged a few patio sets for you!! Oh don't forget to get their Peach Lemonade!!

Market street has been made into a giant patio, so we sat outside and listened to a good busker play guitar, while we ate. The Cold Mixed Berry Tea was fantastic! Parking was easy just a short block away. I'd far prefer this to a stop at a fast food place if I were travelling through town on a road trip. Physical distancing protocols (for Covid 19) were taken extremely seriously and there is a huge space between tables. The washroom was clean. Hand sanitizer was provided.
