They were great! Showed up on time, removed all our moving boxes and were delightful. I will definitely use them again.

Two Men and a Truck Moving

    (4 reviews)

Goldsboro, NC - Two Men and a Truck The movers did not try…read moreto be careful and did not try very hard to protect the furniture from moving damage, but they were otherwise professional and they were friendly. The problems included: -The Tow Men showed up an hour earlier than scheduled and so arrived before the furniture was ready to be moved. The Two Men apparently had not been told of the time on the agreement. -Half of the furniture that was, and half of the furniture that was NOT, protected with moving blankets was knocked into doorways, walls, etc. Or it was allowed to grind on wood stairs and/or the unprotected edge of metal surfaces, and/or bounced down stairs or on/off of the truck with no protection between the weight carrying nose-plate of their hand truck and polished table tops and other easily scratched highly visible surfaces. -The items with polished easily scratched highly visible surfaces that were being moved into storage were NOT protected with blankets but were still carried through the house, loaded then unloaded on, and then off of, the truck, moved through the storage buildings doorways and corridors. And again, half of these pieces without moving blankets were knocked into doorways, bounced on the unpadded nose-plate of the hand-truck, etc. The Two Men did protect some furniture with blankets but not any of the items that were being placed into storage, even though these pieces could be damaged in the same ways. -Frame of a mirror was broken because it was not properly protected and/or handled. -The Tow Men bashed a heavy chest of drawers into the ceiling/wall corner above the staircase. -They broke the molding on a doorway as they moved furniture through it. The damage was at eye-level and so would be very noticeable afterwards without careful repair and repainting. -They carried unprotected wooden chairs two at a time by their top back cross-piece after being told the glue in the chair-joints should not be trusted. Then also banged the chairs on doorways or each other while they were being carried. -The polished highly visible surfaces of furniture that were NOT protected by moving blankets were allowed to rub against, or fall into and rub against, each other in the back of the truck while the truck was being driven to be unloaded. -They left an unloaded rocking chair sitting upright but with one runner completely and obviously not attached at one end. -At least one of the Two Men either used marijuana mouthwash or was high during the packing/loading and the much later unpacking/unloading

Furniture damage that was easily avoided. Guys didn't even bring anything to drink, not prepared…read more Nice guys though.

I never had considered myself a hoarder; to me, that was a dirty word. I preferred to see myself…read moremore as a "collector." But that all came crashing down one day (pun intended). On that fateful day last fall, I was relaxing, sitting in the only place in my house where I had any space to sit, my armchair, and I was reading the newspaper. Suddenly I heard a loud crash in the bedroom. I zig zagged thru the pathway of my belongings over to my bedroom, and looked in horror at my lovely cat Jangles, buried completely under a pile of semi-functional crock pots that had been stacked up to the ceiling just a moment ago. I quickly uncovered Jangles, and was relieved to find that she was still alive, albeit likely injured from the impact of the falling items. I embraced her with tears in my eyes, and at that moment, made a promise to myself that I would not let my "collecting" tendencies ruin my life anymore. I quickly went online and called the first junk removal company I could find. That company turned out to be "I Put Your Junk In My Trunk." After a quick chat with a lovely lady named Megan, their crew was on their way to my house. Just 24 hours later, I was able to see some of my floors for the first time in 13 years! A few days later, all of the junk was gone! I couldn't even believe how big my house now seemed! I can't thank Megan and her team enough for helping me declutter my life and begin a new chapter, one that doesn't involve "collecting" things anymore. Well, except for Pokémon cards. Gotta catch em all, right? Post script: Jangles has recovered fully from the accident! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Post post script: Jangles is now afraid of crock pots. I found this out the other day when I pulled one out to make some chili. As soon as she saw it she darted out of the house faster than a fat kid chasing after an ice cream truck.

This lady is a scam artist. She posted items for FREE on marketplace saying "take anything you…read morewant" then threatened us to either drop the items back off or pay her for the junk. If we refused she said she would file a police report. We talked to our lawyer and they said while she doesn't really have a leg to stand on, she could drag this out and make a big stink about it if she wanted to. She seemed to be the type of person that manipulates people so she can get her way. We are a hour away so it really hurt us to drag the truck and trailer there and back twice. I tried to show her that our time and travels adds up to way more than she thinks we "stole" but she freaked out and threatened us again. We eventually just dropped the crap back off and called it a loss. I'm sure she is smug thinking she really showed us but we just didn't want to waste any more time or money on her drama. I'll never do business with her and I will forever tell people to stay far away from her!
