I know, because I was on the receiving end of a difficult operation that had the best possible outcome due to his expert capabilities in removing a tumor pressing against a nerve inside my jaw beneath my lower teeth. While it isn't always possible, Dr. Johnson was able to avoid cutting the nerve, or breaking my jaw; which can happen with this type of surgery on older patients whose bone mass begins to deteriorate abd lose its strength. The repair didn't stay more than 2 weeks. Went back in to get it fixed. The really short muscular pudgy dentist came out and determined he couldn't repair my chip cause it was so small and that I needed to get other work done for around $7000. zmy teeth are very straight BTW. Then after I left I got a bill for cleaning my teeth. I told them I'm not paying to have teeth clean when they charged me to fix my tooth, causing them to need to clean them. Then they sent me a cleaning bill. I refused to pay, so they turned it over to collections. If you like your teeth worked on by clowns, be my guest.

Maybe I caught them on a good day, don't know, but my visit and cleaning at this Aspen location a few months ago was pretty good. My only complaint is the hygienist was a little rough on my gums and they were sore until the next day. The staff were all pleasant and got me from the waiting room on time. Expect a lot of X-rays. It's a little odd that they require your first visit to be for X-rays and a consultation only (no hygienist cleaning), but they can try to work you in that day if the hygienist has time. Getting an appointment can be difficult as they seem to be heavily booked for several months.

I didn't have a dentist in Asheville yet, so I searched around for one with good reviews. I was able to get an appointment very quickly, and Dr. Peterson did a great job with the filling. I ended up making a new patient appointment after that, and my teeth were cleaned, X-rayed and photographed at angles I never knew existed. They don't cut corners here! I've since had some 10-year-old fillings replaced by Dr. Peterson, as well as new composites on my two front teeth where the old ones had chipped. The composite repair took several tries because of difficulties matching my tooth color, but they made it right with no extra charges. I have been blown away by the amazing customer service at this practice, and the overall kindness and awesomeness from everyone I've interacted with here. Price wise- well, I didn't comparison shop, but I'm thinking the prices here are about average for a high quality dentist. You get what you pay for. This place is worth it!

She had the space set up in a cozy manner with lamps and gentle music playing. Throughout each step she was communicative, careful, and attentive. Then, Dr. Patel arrived and continued to provide the same level of compassion and attentiveness. I would highly recommend this practice who anyone who has dentist appointment apprehensive like I did in the past.
