Jobs In Games Limited promises "one of the best (if not the best)' placement experiences that is strictly focused on video game development professionals. I was taken for granted and disrespected before I could have a chance to find out.
Customers are "required" to "donate" $95 USD (or local equivalent) before you can even interview with a placement agent. I did this, then followed along with their requests. First my emails went unanswered for 10 days, then after a mostly unhelpful couple responses wherein my questions went unanswered, I then did not receive any communications for 17 days. At this point, it had been 2 months since I was contacted by Jobs In Games Limited offering their services and I had not yet been provided with a single job lead, nor had I been provided with another email or point of contact for anyone in the company but the secretary.
When raising my concerns with the owner of the company, Adrian Smith (who had originally reached out to me to offers his services), after many emails of me requesting his help resolving issues in his company's communication, he continually pushed the blame on me while simultaneously admitting that his company has recently been experiencing email issues on multiple services.
As I pressed to have my money refunded because I'm unhappy with the lack of services provided and the way he and his company have handled the situation, he called me an "arse hole" and blocked me on LinkedIn.
I highly discourage anyone who is looking for a timely, communicative or respectful placement experience from working with Jobs In Games Limited. read more
