It took us quite a while to find it because Yelp showed it further down the road (address now fixed). Once we found it after driving past it several times on Main St we were rewarded with tons of historical information inside and some outside of this partially restored building. The docents were very knowledgeable and ready to talk your ears off about the history of that area of Arizona. Lots of old books and newspaper clippings to read in a couple of the rooms. There is no admission fee but a couple of donation jars and some books for sale to help support the place. We both tossed some money in the jar. It may be small but it is well worth the time to stop by if you are in to history.

For $75 per person you also get the guided Castle Dome Mine tour. Took about 2 hours and was very informative about mining life underground. Miners extracted gold, silver, copper and lead for many years. This and other minerals show up fantastic under black light. Glad we drove 10 miles down the bumpy road off of highway 95. Mine tour are at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00. Would recommend getting there after 10:00 and take the 11:00 tour. Closes at 5:00 so give yourself a good 4+ hours to have fun.

His ingenuity alone was worth the visit! The **Ghost Town walking tour** was **nothing short of spectacular**. Before starting, we downloaded the **audio tour**, which provided fascinating background stories at various stops. The town features **over 20 buildings**--some original, some carefully reconstructed--each **meticulously filled with authentic period items**. The attention to detail was **breathtaking**: - The **blacksmith shop** was stocked with real tools and equipment. - The **dress shop** displayed elegant gowns, hats, and sewing supplies. - The **barbershop**, saloons, jail, and church all felt **frozen in time**. Even the **"junk piles"** behind buildings were **historically accurate**, filled with old bottles, cans, and mining debris--proof that every inch of this place was crafted with **love and precision**. It was a very nice experience and the staff was very informative and it kind of felt that I was getting my own private tour there is no admission but there is a donation box I would probably come back to check it out again. I ended up having a full-blown conversation with the host, she is a very lovely woman welcomed me with a kind heart and was more than happy to answer any questions I had. They have postcards and other little knickknacks you can purchase as a gift I could recommend this place to visit if you are only in town for a short time and need something to do. I found this place by accident due to walking around town waiting for my court date for traffic citation.

How did I never know about this…read more.. The road is super easy, but you do have to walk a little (not far) as they have the road lined with cable on both sides. This place was awesome. I wad the only one out there and it was simply amazing. Crazy to think that ancient man did that with rocks scraping the earth. If you're in Blythe, stop by for sure, it's worth it. Don't climb over the fence or deface any of it. You can see where it was damaged before it was protected.

They have a big gift shop with random knick-knacks. You pay $10 to explore the grounds which includes a tiny chapel on elevated mound of earth, a replica of a chapel in Brittany, France.
