I have been driving…read moredown into Austin and Dripping Springs to find plants and trees when all along this place has been in my backyard. Very easy to find and plenty of parking. Even open on Sunday for those who are inundated during the week and can't get out except for a weekend. When I first stepped out of my car and began to walk around, it was dizzying. I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many tree varieties to choose from and I couldn't even begin to guess how many acres this place is. There are staff all over going about tending to the plants/trees but if you need help, they will go out of their way to help you. I was assisted by Adam who was extremely friendly and helpful. I simply had a question about a tree but Adam took me around in a cart giving me a tour since it was my first time here. In the end, I did end up buying a tree which they were happy to hold onto until I am ready to bring to my house. All of the staff are very friendly and Adam was especially helpful. They had trees I have been searching for online and some I thought I would have to buy from tree farms and have shipped here. And not only trees, but they have so much for bushes and shrubs and regular plants to decorate your landscaping if that is what you are looking for. Something else I really appreciated was there was no pressure. At other places, I have experienced high pressure sales, but here, they are very knowledgeable and just want to help. If you are looking to add something to your backyard or landscaping, you won't find a better nursery.

My system isn't working properly, and I'm trying to grow Annual rye grass seed, so this is important to me. They called me on 12-17 to tell me that they were going to have to cancel my appointment, with it being so close to Christmas. They recommended I just 'turn the system off until after the holidays" and then call them after the first of the year! Whaaaaat? While the young lady on the phone was very polite, the message was clear: we don't care about your needs. But oh, Merry Christmas! I'll water my lawn with a teaspoon and a gallon jug before I call these folks for ANYTHING! What poor, disrespectful customer service!

I hired Larry at Blue Water last summer to replace my sprinkler system after the flood including…read morefully installing a new pump, wiring, controller. It was a terrible decision and could have potentially cost someone there life. The sprinkler system worked until recently. I contacted Larry because it was tripping a breaker and figured it would be covered under warranty. He informed me that they were scheduling work for 6 weeks out, and that electric work was not covered under warranty, and I should contact an electrician. I had a licensed electrician come out, and he found out the cause. Blue Water had buried a 220 cable only a couple inches under my yard, and spliced it into the breaker using twist connectors. The wiring they used was not rated for burial, it was interior romex. They spliced it using twist ties, no junction box, and according to the electrician incredibly dangerous. It started shorting out, big surprise. Not so much as an "I'm sorry for putting your family at risk" from Larry. He was out of town, refused to acknowledge what a horrendous job they did, and he wanted to send back the same person who originally installed it! I've attached pictures. Quite literally someone could be walking barefoot above a bare romex cable spliced into another. It is no wonder why it was shorting out. Thankfully no one was hurt. According to the electrician, this was one of the worst electrocution risks he has seen. Plus my lawn is half-dead since the sprinkler isn't working, but thankfully no one was hurt. Needless to say, I can't recommend Blue Water and would suggest anyone that has had work done with them have it inspected to make sure there are not safety issues like this one.
