One of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had, bar none. Tried to get a prescription for a wheelchair filled and fell into an abyss of poor service, snarky attitude and misdirection. During this ordeal, their story continued to change. With each phone call and visit, roadblock after roadblock was placed. Incomplete explanations required yet more phone calls that led to yet another unsuccessful completion of order. We placed calls to our insurance company and the doctor to help JMS complete the order only to find that JMS repeatedly misrepresented the situation. We visited the doctor on Monday, got the prescription, dropped it off to JMS the same day. Surgery was scheduled for the following day and the chair was needed to get me home. We contacted JMS on Tuesday as we had not heard from them. After my surgery I spent TWO HOURS in the car trying to satisfy JMS and their final decision was no. We retrieved the prescription and went elsewhere. The last comment from JMS was "I hope you can find someone who takes your insurance. read more

Customer service is horrible I've been waiting for six months on an order for a power chair and every time I call the person is not there to give me an update and she never calls back I have to keep calling. I am told she is not in today then I asked for a manager and they said she is not in today either. They set up an evaluation of my home and no one showed up on that day nor did they call to say they were not coming. Finally someone came about two weeks ago and I haven't gotten any kind of update because when I call I get "she's not in today" I never plan on using them again. read more

The 20-something tech kept calling me "dear". I asked him more than once to stop it and told him why. He kept doing it and justified it by saying,"that's how I roll". His tone and demeanor was disrespectful and patronizing. He picked up my CPAP unit, asked me if I used the humidifier (which is built in to the system), then roughly detached my humidifier from the main part of the unit. He did this in a careless manner and I watched in fear that his mishandling of the machine might have damaged it. He belittled my health condition by saying that stopping breathing 22 times a night "isn't bad". He told me that the display of a 1 and a clock had to do with time. Later I found out (at another store) that that code relates to the wireless transmission of data. I also later learned that JMS had not given me a SD card for the data recording part of the transmitter. Finally I asked him to check for the unit settings in my file or in the computer. I asked him his name because I saw that his name tag was flipped over. He said, "you don't need to know my name". I looked around and noticed that all of the people behind the desk had their name tags flipped over. An employee then walked into the front office area. I pointed at the young man and asked her what his name was. His name is "Will". Will informed me that "he was doing me a favor by waiting on me". After having me spell my name aloud 4 times in front of waiting customers (it only has 4 letters, so how hard is that?); he informed me that they had no record of me as a customer. You know he never even asked me my home address so he wasn't trying that hard to find me in there. That's when I informed Will that I would be taking my business elsewhere. Also, that I did not appreciate his tone, his patronizingly calling me "dear" after I had asked him not to. At this point he walked out of the office area. Another employee came to the counter and asked if they could help me. I informed her about what had just transpired. I then told her to tell "dear Will" that JMS had lost my business. If you have to have a CPAP machine in order to breath while you sleep, it's my opinion that you deserve better customer service that what I received. read more
