My husband and I designed our wedding rings with JK Diamond Co back in 2023, and it was such a wonderful experience! From the beginning, the team was professional, attentive, and truly excited to help bring our vision to life. I had my heart set on a natural salt and pepper diamond with beautiful inclusions, and they went above and beyond to source a variety of options for us to select from. The entire process was seamless with clear communication, transparent pricing, and timelines that were honored exactly as discussed. It made designing such meaningful pieces feel easy and stress free. Now as a preschool teacher, I am definitely not the most gentle on my jewelry. Recently it was time to replace a small diamond in my delicate eternity band and reshape my engagement ring band. The repair process was just as smooth as the original design experience. Scheduling a drop off and pick up was quick and convenient, and the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. It is clear they truly care about their work and their customers. They are never pushy and always focused on helping you create something beautiful and personal with their expertise. We're so lucky to have found a jeweler we trust for our most special pieces and will continue to design with them! read more

I don't have enough good things to say about JK & Co. I called very spur of the moment to come in for an appointment in search of an engagement ring after not finding what I wanted at other jewelers. I came in anxious, confused, and frazzled. Matthew immediately kept me at ease - relaxed and confident. I knew as soon as I sat down I was in good hands. In this first step, rather than trying to figure out exactly what I wanted, he wanted to learn more about myself and my (now) fiancé. Matthew was great at providing his expertise in what the majority tends to go with, what all the options are when designing a ring, all while staying within my budget. I never once felt rushed in making a decision, or being upsold on bigger options. He truly wanted me to get what I and my fiancé really wanted. Overall, Matthew and his team were understanding, thoughtful, respectful, and flexible. To quote my fiancé, "it was exactly what I wanted, and more!" read more

Paul is a straight up guy and very easy to work with. From my first phone call with him, I knew I could trust the man.

10 years ago Matthew at JK & Co did our wedding bands. We had an exceptional experience at the time. When we wanted to get a new engagement ring for my wife to celebrate 10 years of marriage, Matthew was the first person to come to mind for that. Are we glad we decided to get the ring done through JK & Co. Matthew was a true professional the whole time. Brought things up to us we would never even thought about or knew were even options. It was such an educational experience. Lastly not only are you paying for a high quality masterpiece but an experience that makes you feel comfortable you are making a good decision. It would be a mistake to go anywhere else. read more

My now-fiancé and I had an incredible experience with JK & Co. From the initial consultation to the curation collection to the final result, every part of the process exceeded our expectations. I was interested in a custom engagement ring and I had very little knowledge about diamonds or even jewelry in general. In total, I went to four places around the LA area. I was shocked to find that each of the four had completely different and sometimes opposite experiences. One had no actual diamonds to show, one didn't feel fully professional, another felt like a car dealership... and then there was JK & Co. We worked with Matthew. He is patient, incredibly knowledgable and so professional. 10/10. Everything about JK & Co is about personal touches with no pressure and no rush. They move at the pace that you are most comfortable with and can work with any budget range. Matthew took our specifications and preferences and personally curated an unbelievable collection of diamonds. The presentation of this collection was the most impressive part of the journey for me. He took the time to go through each diamond with me, with very nicely printed information on all of them and had everything beautifully organized. The proposal was a huge success! My fiancé is over the moon for her ring. The diamond is absolutely breathtaking and the band and setting are gorgeous. Thank you to Matthew and JK & Co!! If you are reading this and you are looking for the perfect engagement ring, wedding band, etc., take this into consideration. If you and your partner are the sentimental type who would find and appreciate the magic of creating the ring and would hold on to the story and the experience of it all, then JK & Co is 100% where you must go. Even if you're not looking for a personal touch, then simply enjoy the highest level of professionalism and expertise that they have to offer. read more

JK & Co. designed and created the most stunning ring I've ever owned. Matthew is a long-time friend of my husband so when he wanted to get me a new ring for our ten year anniversary we knew we could entrust Matthew with this important milestone. He is a true professional and let us know about all our options in regard to design, stone quality/shapes and how it would look with the various placement settings. He even got it made and delivered to me on my birthday! We decided to get something elegant and unique - an elongated cushion on rose gold. I'm so in love and will cherish it forever. read more

Thank you Matthew @ JK&co for creating the perfect ring for us. JK&co was our 1st & only stop when we started our ring process. Matthew was so kind, understanding & patient that there was no need to look anywhere else. consultations were appt only & private, with just us & the specialist (vs other places where there are several potential clients trying to receive assistance). This made the experience feel much more intimate & special. Matthew really understood our needs & guided us to create the perfect ring for us. Thanks again for the great memories & beautiful engagement ring (single diamond with hidden halo & half-pave). We'll be back for our wedding bands :) read more

If you are looking for the perfect place to design your perfect ring, you HAVE to use JK & Co. WOW is all I had to say when I saw it. This ring is better than I could have dreamed of! I feel like I have a $100,000 ring! First of all let me start with how wonderful Matthew is to work with. I was part of the design process with my fiance. My fiance set up a meeting with JK & Co literally ONE day before the world shut down due to the pandemic and the way they worked with us through this time was AMAZING. First of all, we loved that JK & Co let us use our own diamond. We found a beautiful one online and we wanted to bring in on our first consultation to make sure it was the right one. Of course, my fiance forgot to tell them that because the first meeting is usually to talk about what you like and the second is to look at diamonds. So when we got there they had no diamonds to show us. We were in a bit of a rush because we knew the world was about to shut down due to the pandemic (this literally ended up being the day before all businesses shut down) I was so nervous and paranoid of the pandemic and Matthew was so understanding being very clean and opening doors with napkins! He let us cut to the chase and even though he had no diamonds to show us he looked at our diamond for us and told us it was absolutely perfect. We loved that he was honest and not trying to sell us one of his. We know he has beautiful ones too, the diamonds in my band and halo are STUNNING he matched them perfectly, look at the photos I added! They also had great pricing and we looked EVERYWHERE in LA. We went to so many places before JK & Co where it felt like everyone was trying to upsell us and didn't care about how we felt. Matthew was not like that. He was 100% honest and wanted us to have the perfect ring and he said our diamond was great and we should use it if it felt right to us. We also loved his personality, he was just so nice, someone we would be friends with. He was also in the process of getting engaged too so it was nice to be able to relate. He then asked me what I wanted in a ring and took notes because my fiance would be doing the rest of the work and add any final touches. If you are designing this with your significant other and you're worried about it not being a surprise, don't worry it still is. Like I said they take notes of what you want so you can relax and step aside. Your significant other can also add special touches. You never see it fully done, so you will be wowed! As I said, the world shut down a day after this meeting. Before deciding to go with JK & Co we skyped with Matthew a few more times to go over what I wanted. I was looking for a particular micro pave seamless halo that it seemed no one could do except JK & Co. They had the exact type yet I was still nervous and particular. He made me feel at ease and we ended up going with him and we are so thankful! My fiance said during the process Matthew was kind enough to drive to our house to pick up the diamond during the pandemic (we happen to live near their office) and I was so blown away after hearing the customer service. Then came the moment, the proposal. When I saw the ring, time stopped! It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! They had done everything I wanted and more! It even sparkles in the dark. It was the most beautiful and sparkly ring I had ever seen, I couldn't have imagined it to be this stunning. And it looks HUGE! It has so much brilliance and fire, the halo made it pop, all the fire reflecting off of it. Plus I have a pear-shaped ring and because the halo adds extra protection we didn't need a prong at the front. It literally looks like one huge diamond. I suggest it if you are considering a halo. Inside the ring, my fiance added two hidden gems to represent us. It was such a special addition. This ring is such high quality, you'd think it were a Harry Winston BUT BETTER. Way more modern and better quality (trust me we looked for fun there). We also went to Tiffany's and it was junk in comparison (weak structure, the diamonds in the ring are not sealed in there like they are at JK & Co) I swear this company will be the next big thing and I'm so happy we found them. This ring is a show-stopping dream ring. I can't take it off! I cannot stop looking at my beautiful ring, I'm looking at it as I write this! I cannot thank JK & Co enough for making all our dreams come true. We joke that this ring got us through the pandemic and it really has. Thank you! If you are worried about finding the perfect ring I hope this review helps you rest assured that it is the best place you could ever find! read more

I am so glad that we ended up getting our rings at JK & Co. Met with Abe to get our wedding bands, and they made the process so easy. We had a 1-on-1 appointment where we got undivided attention. For my ring, he helped me consider all the different types of bands, and when I settled on one that was already created, he didn't push me to make a custom band. He offered to resize and clean it so it would be like brand new. As for my fiance, we ended up going the custom route because he wanted a specific look, but a different metal, a different thickness, and also size. They were able to create the coolest custom band, complete with an engraving. Super quick, easy, and seamless process, and we got the bands pretty quickly back too. Thanks Abe and JK & Co Jewelers! read more

My fiancee designed my engagement ring with the help of JK & CO with the help of Abe and Matthew. They were attentive to detail and helped to make his vision come true. I highly recommend their company :) read more

Jk & Co created my dream custom engagement ring! My fiancé and I went to the first consultation with Matthew together and brought my late grandmother's ring, as we were leaning towards using the center diamond in a new setting to look more contemporary and fit my personal style. Matthew validated that my heirloom stone would be beautiful to use and encouraged us to do so, and when I described the setting design I had in mind, he brought out examples of exactly what I was looking for- it was so easy! He really took the time to listen to my particular concerns about needing a ring to be wearable and practical for me on the job as a musician. Matthew was very warm, kind, and truly invested in getting to know us as a couple and making a personalized experience with no hint of pushiness. It was important to us to find a jeweler who we could really trust with my family heirloom, and we left the appointment super excited about the process. My fiancé and Matthew took the process from there, and my fiancé told me after our engagement that Matthew even went above and beyond by advising and brainstorming with him about the proposal plans and surprise. I was totally blown away with the ring and transformation, which was everything I wanted and more. The office is beautiful and in an adorable area in Santa Monica, and I went back for a slight size adjustment which turned out perfectly. Looking forward to going back for our future jewelry needs! read more

JK & Co. Jewelers came highly recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint. Abe helped me navigate the design process seamlessly from start to finish. After a very negative experience with some amateur "jeweler" in West Hollywood I got referred to Matthew at JK & Co. Jewelers. UPDATE: So when I first picked up my ring, there was a small issue with the hidden halo prongs being visible from the birds eye view. It didn't take away from the beauty of my ring, but was something I noticed with my eagle eye. Matthew said he could try to slightly polish down the hidden halo prongs to make it less noticeable, but explained that due to the shape and angles of my diamond (emerald cut), it is harder to completely tuck the hidden halo underneath the diamond. That made sense to me. When I picked up my ring for the second time, I was shocked to find out he ended up redoing that whole area (instead of just polishing the prongs), to make sure the hidden halo was tucked under as much as possible given my diamonds dimensions. The results are perfect. I am so impressed by how he did what he needed to do to make it just right, and didn't just do what was easiest. I think Matthew may be as much as a perfectionist as I am! :) Thank you again! read more

Highly recommend working with Matt from JK & Co for all of your custom jewelry needs! We found JK & Co after a lot of research. We wanted to work with someone who was credible, transparent with pricing, and trustworthy. We also didn't want to go with someone who was just trying to make money or make a sale, as I've heard many jewelers do. Matt encouraged us to meet with other jewelers to help make our decision, but ultimately we knew we wanted to work with him after the first consultation. He was super calm and informative, and just seemed like a good person. The whole process has been very easy, clear, and enjoyable. We asked for a custom ring design, and he definitely understood the assignment! read more

Working with Matthew was a phenomenal experience! I came into the process nervous but Matthew was able to make all of it entirely seamless and fun. He took the time to educate me so I understood with each detail of the ring what my options were and what I should be looking for based on the preferences I communicated to him. The entire process felt personal and Matthew demonstrated a clear dedication to finding the ring of mine and my fiancée's dreams. The ring itself came out so much more beautiful than I could have imagined. The craftsmanship is unbelievable and my fiancée, myself, and our loved ones are in awe. I'd recommend Matthew and JK & Co. My experience with Matthew has been quite different from everyone in the review. Our initial appointment went fine, I had a good experience during the showroom appointment. Matthew was confident that he was able to find the exact stone I was looking for. Keep in mind I was shopping around other jewelers but but jk & co was my top option. However, our conversation after the appt just rubbed me in the wrong way in many different occasions. Most jewelers don't show the curated stones until deposit is made and that makes perfect sense. Although he was confident during our appt that he can find the perfect stone, he mentioned afterwards that what I want would be hard to find. Even though the conversation went differently than what I expected, I had no issues with it since the stone isn't too common. With that being said, now I was unsure if Matthew could find the stone that I eventually wanted. The other jeweler I went to was able to find what I was looking for within our budge but I was kind of firm on going with jk & co even if it meant I had to pay more for a lower setting. My boyfriend was honest about what we got quoted on from the other jeweler to Matthew. He then said something along the lines of "we only find high quality stones so if makes sense for you to work with a jeweler that offered 3.9 ct for $__ then no hard feelings." The way Matthew worded things to my bf was like he was making an assumption that we were getting a 3.9ct shitty quality stone with an unreasonable budget expectations. I've attached the GIA report of that exact stone just so matthew can see it. It's the same quality as what he raved about. Even then, my bf didn't say anything nor did i cause I still wanted to work with them. My bf drove 4hrs from Nevada, another 1.5hr from my house to see them in which he also gave us the vibe he didn't really believe us. Therefore, my bf provided him with his drivers license. Anyways, I reached out to him to tell him I'm open different settings and lowered my stone setting JUST to go with them since he said I'll have more options that way. We truly went out of our way to give them our business. I've asked him questions about the stone that he said might be right fit- he ignored my email. I then followed up with him with another email which he then gave me a generic/half assed response. Even if his entire demeanor towards me and my boyfriend felt like he didn't really want to work with us, I was completely polite and just asked questions no other jewelers had problems answering. He doesn't share anything about the stone until deposit is made like the carat/size/symmetry literally the basic info I SHOULD know since this is close to a six figure purchase. It's extremely hard to commit to something very expensive when 1. You don't know anything about the stone 2. Ignored my email 3.tells me it'll be hard to find what I'm looking for. I'm not even adding in the factor that he wasn't really being nice to us. It just didn't really make sense to me why anyone would just pay the deposit without knowing anything about the stone. And IF that's how their system works, he should've communicated that to us but he didn't so it felt somewhat personal. But again, despite of that, I wouldn't have minded putting a deposit if he just seemed like he cared?? I just did not appreciate how he treated us. It was almost as if he was very resistant towards us and had a sense of entitlement. I have confronted him that I'm getting an impression that he doesn't want to work with us after his very "i don't care" response and even then no apologies for ignoring my email. Anyways, that made it easy for me to make my decision NOT to go with them. read more

We had an amazing experience working with Matthew at JK & Co. My fiance and I had several meetings with Matthew to design a simple engagement ring setting for a family diamond that belonged to his grandma. I loved that I was able to provide input, especially since I'm not into the extreme flash it seemed like many rings are designed for. My fiance had initially proposed with the diamond set into a necklace pendant and I was really glad I was able to have input on the design! Matthew was amazingly helpful in our first visit. We were basically clueless besides some online browsing in the couple weeks since we had gotten engaged. Matthew went through many of the options with us, had me try on the styles I had seen online that I liked, suggested some others, and had me try on ones that I would have never considered (and it helped me to conclusively rule them out.) He even let me try on some wedding bands with the sample engagement rings. We then took a few weeks to mull over the ring setting, obsessively look at the photos I had taken of the few top choices, and checked out a few other jewelers. NONE of them impressed me nor seemed that interested in actually working to help us out. Basically gave us a catalog or only had a couple sample engagement rings, none of which were my style at all. None mentioned potential wedding bands that might work, and never really sat down with us to show us options or examples even though we had made appointments. After our informative and personalized 1st meeting at JK & Co, we knew we had to go back. After some time mulling it over, we easily set up a 2nd appointment with Matthew to finalize. The ring we designed with him was very similar to a few others they had, but he customized the width of the shank, and knew exactly what to suggest that we might like; his suggestions were very welcome. We also chose to get my and my fiance's birthstones on the inner side of the band (a really special, unique touch that makes the ring made for me, and fancier than the simple setting appears). At the 2nd meeting, I was bummed to leave the diamond but I felt confident in our decision, I knew it was in good hands. They finished the ring within the 3 week estimate. Then my fiance, without telling me, snuck out and got it and surprised me!! It turned out perfectly! Matthew even was so thoughtful that he provided a paper trader joe's bag as a sneaky way to hide the ring box/ care kit/ jeweler bag. My fiance was able to sneak it past me with ease, and we got to laugh about that personal touch after I received the ring, in a brand new proposal! The ring turned out exactly as discussed and it really is so lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend JK & Co for any of my friends with jewelry needs. read more

We had an amazing experience working with Abe & Matthew at JK & Co and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a high quality and beautifully made engagement ring! My now-fiance and I had initially visited the showroom during our jeweler search and met with Abe who was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He didn't pressure us at all and took time to answer all our questions and showed us a variety of designs and stone shapes/sizes. We loved their engagement rings but ultimately ended up going with another jeweler at the Diamond District in DTLA because they had found a diamond we loved (& we felt pressured to make a decision quick). Unfortunately, we were not happy with the ring we received from this other jeweler and were pretty upset about the whole situation. We went straight back to JK & Co and met with Abe again who remembered us and made us feel heard and reassured. We trusted them to remake my ring with the diamond we purchased from the other jeweler and it turned out amazing! Matthew met with us to present the ring when it was finished, even earlier than the promised date. He also fit us in the same-day which we appreciated. He was also so personable and helpful and did a great job presenting us with the finished ring. The difference in quality and durability in JK's ring was obvious to us, even as non-jewelry experts. Thank you JK & Co for turning our engagement ring experience around and we can't wait to go back to design our wedding bands! :) read more

I, like you, found my way to JK and Co through Yelp and I was so happy I did. My journey began when I was looking to have my engagement ring resized after getting engaged. The original jeweler was in Chicago so I thought it would make sense to find someone local. I met with Matthew and he was friendly and welcoming from the start. We found out that my ring needed to be sized down 4 sizes! What we found out after a few days was that their studio was worried about sizing it down so much when they hadn't made it and gave me a few options, one of which was to have it sent back to the original jeweler. They were so great during the process that I knew I wanted to work with them once we decided to get our wedding bands. Fast forward 6 months, and we were with Matthew and Abe. Both of them were so awesome during the decision making process and the rings turned out AMAZING! Better than I even imagined. Abe and Matthew listen, provide guidance and suggestions without being overbearing and the quality of their jewelry is exquisite. You won't go wrong going with them! read more

My fiancé Ben surprised me with the most beautiful engagement ring I'd ever seen. It was so perfect for me! I couldn't wait to meet the people who helped him create the ring - the amazing Matthew and Abe. The second I entered the store, I was immediately impressed by how knowledgeable they were about every stone, band, setting, etc. But more than anything, I loved how excited they seemed to see my reaction to the ring that they had worked on with Ben. They were personally invested in the process and genuinely wanted me to be happy. How many jewelers can say that? When it was time to pick out our wedding bands, we once again had the best possible experience at JK & Co. Matthew worked with me for weeks, showing me lots of options and letting me try on every possible ring until I knew I had picked the right one. Wedding planning is a crazy stressful time, but everything at JK & Co was easy, relaxed, and fun. You won't find a better jewelry store in LA. read more
