Wanted to express appreciation for the free air at the car wash. This is a priceless service to me and I am sure many customers on there way to the reservoir. However it could use some upgrades, 1-The roller wheel would benefit by being replaced with a ratchet style wheel, existing wheel has no resitance and no handle to roll it up with. 2- The chuck should be replaced with the style with built in pressure gauge, the old one is shot. 3-Best to replace the hose at the same time as it is developing cracks. Basically the only place I get gas, I pass it on the way to work. To mute the commercials on the gas pumps, on the right side of the screen, press the second button from the top. Great range of food and snacks inside the store - chips, candies, cigarettes, a whole wall of cold drinks, ice, usual gas station fare. They carry some essentials in case you're at home and get caught without. Like a half gallon of milk, butter, sugar, etc. Fun to take a bike to go get some ice creams from the freezer on nice, hot days. Staff is always really nice, and the store is always clean. read more

We got the most expensive car wash at $14. We went with this because our car was filthy from our road trip starting in Florida. We had tons of dirt all over the car. The soaps were strongly scented and we could smell them through the car while going through the wash - one was orange, couldn't pinpoint the other scent but both were pleasant. Surveyed the car after the wash and most of the dirt was gone, but on the back hatch of most of our minivan there was surface dirt that I could wipe off with my hand. So it didn't appear to be caked on but with all the jets and washing it still didn't get all the dirt off. read more

Every time I go to get cigarettes I have to check to see if I get light cigarettes. The cashiers almost always screw it up and give me full flavor cigarettes. This has happened more then a couple of times. Also I number of people I have talked with tell the customer service is not very good. I find this is not the best place to shop!!!! read more

Great place for gas, car wash, liquor, and best pizza and wings in Ft Collins. So great full we live close by!

J.J.'s is close to my house and has become my go-to convenience store. Gas for the car, milk for the kids, beef jerkey for the soul and an ATM for the babysitter - what more could you ask for? It doesn't hurt that there's also a liquor store attached, either. And since it's the last place to get gas before you hit Horsetooth Reservoir, there's always an interesting clientele around - from boaters to bikers to cyclists. I do not recommend taking a date here, however. It's also your go-to place in the summer for fireworks, the Schwann's truck, discount sunglasses and oversized beach towels. Friendly! Neighborly! That good old small town feel! We often enter the store in the mornings where a couple of working boys may be sipping their morning coffee and conversing with the cashier. Employees are happy, helpful, and knowledgeable which speaks volumes about management! Management is always on the front lines helping customers too! This is one of the greatest things employers can do for their employees. They set a fantastic example and have a great attitude every time we set foot in the store. This is my new go-to car wash. Stumbled upon this place while needing fuel. Turns out they also have self-service car wash bays as well as a touch-less war wash. Although their unleaded fuel runs roughly a nickel more than other nearby stations, you get a dollar off a car wash. For $4 you end up with a pretty good touch-less wash. It may not be great if you just got done mudding with your jeep but for regular, routine washes it works as well as can be. This seems to be a cheaper, yet better quality wash than I've received at other non-touchless washes here in town. I would recommend it if you're just looking for a quick, cheap, and basic wash. read more

I stopped here for gas, and to use the restroom. There was a piece of rusty metal sticking out on the pump island that I caught my little toe on. Went in bleeding and asked for a bandage. After 10 minutes of getting the bleeding to stop I asked for a the manager. He was on the phone. Waited another 10 minutes. Went and took a picture of the metal and showed the cashier. Had to leave. Came back 24 hours later and no one had taken care of the problem. The manager said he "forgot about it " and said he was sorry, just asked if I was ok. No offer of maybe a discount on my next purchase of gas or a bother of coke or anything. Just let us know if anything happens...... I told him he needed to at least train his staff to ask for a phone number so he can follow up with a customer on matters like this. I felt like all they are interested in is the $$, not the customer! read more
