We bought the 20 classes for $250 pass because we can't take full advantage of all the classes in a month yet. His first few days they let him borrow gloves and shin pads which was nice. We started bringing in our own. We never felt pressured to buy any of the merch they sell which is always a plus. They have more than Muay Thai here. It's a great place for kids and adults wanting to try various forms of martial arts or just to work on their strength training.

I've…read moreeven been to another Cobrinha, so the moment I found out another Cobrinha academy was opening close to my house I had to give it another try because I like the system that is taught at Cobrinha compared to a Gracie or Atos academy. Walking into Cobrinha Henderson you can immediately feel the atmosphere is welcoming and about family, it's also well kept and very clean, you can tell they take pride in their academy. Professor Sam and Professor Gizelle make you feel welcomed and they take their time to talk with you as you walk in even while class is going, I guess that's the benefit of having a Husband and wife black belt duo running an academy. These two just know what they are doing. My kids love being here just as much as I do and I can see their growth just in the 3 weeks this Gym has been opened. I feel like their attention to detail with their teaching and always doing warm ups prior to going over the techniques help keep you grounded and it also forces you to have a good foundation in your Jiu Jitsu game. After that initial week, my oldest turned to me in the car on the way home and said, "You're right Mom, after I got over my nervousness, I love jiujitsu."
