Their seats are near the back, but the most fun is back there. This salon is either bustling or empty, but it's always nice and sometimes even fun. The women there tend to get out of hand with their chit chat, but the stylists keep each other in check and help each other out. It is always tidy, but the cons are: The main language spoken is Spanish, you cannot schedule an appointment for anything other than a hairstyle session, and it's a fairly small hair salon. The reason why I go is because Rocio is just amazing with my hair and I always make sure to go to her with my hair dilemmas. Being a struggling trichotillomaniac who needs a new hair style every few months, Rocio helps manage and treat my hair. She has the hands of a goddess, and her salon is just a few blocks away from my home. She gives great advice on beauty, and they have an okay selection of magazines in English and Spanish. AND it's not as expensive as other salons. Which, in my opinion, makes it all even better! I hope you can check it out, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I met her after Covid at an event and told her about having won a hair care package for her salon but it was already expired. I was going to make an appointment with her the following week anyway because I saw her work on a couple of friends and needed HELP! Anna was so attentive to my needs and concerns on that first visit, walked me through different steps she would take to give me what I "needed" to get me to where I "wanted". Anna has always been professional but friendly, has so much knowledge of hair care and explains everything up front with no after surprises. She does an exceptional job! I also love it when we have time to just talk. She is warm hearted, funny, does an A-MAZING job and is my "Hair Whisperer". She has expanded bringing in new stylists who are eager to begin their journeys. I've seen some really good work from them and all should go far. I was initially told $35, then $45 because I have one row of extensions, and at the end of the service I was charged $65. During the service, I was not properly draped, my hair was not washed thoroughly, and there seemed to be little structure or professionalism throughout the appointment. No products were used until I specifically requested leave-in conditioner. I asked for a blowout with a flipped out finish, but my hair was curled instead without my approval. When I questioned the final price, I explained that I had not requested curls. To make matters worse, oil was applied from my roots all the way down my hair, leaving it looking greasy and weighed down. The final result was uneven, wet in the back of my head, with some sections curled and others not, and it lacked the polished look I expected from a professional blowout. Overall, I left extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere if you're seeking a quality wash and blowout.

Those all left my hair feeling crispy and crunchy. However, after this bleaching and toning session with Nina, my hair feels just as smooth, if not smoother, as when I came in. It's definitely not an easy task for me to lighten my hair, with my naturally dark brown Asian hair.
