Restaurant is slow in filling up the various bins. Decided to get the meat cooked by the chef. Picked veggies and the raw protein (chicken) - this was the worst. Don't take this option as even I could have cooked better than the resident professional.. overall a 2 star. 1.5 stars for the Devore etc and Half star for the fired section. Maybe on your lucky day you might find the bins full and your reviews will be better. But for me - not as much. There are really not too many good restaurants around the Maritim. Therefore, I might visit again - but if you have options - this should not be your #1.

Although there was a few free tables, we were told that it would not be possible because they were already reserved. The service has really declined over the past year and they are not as customer friendly as they used to be. When we told them we are going to leave they couldn't have cared less. I won't be coming to this restaurant again and u shouldn't either. There are plenty more restaurants with excellent service in Darmstadt, Su chin sadly isn't one of them.

Probably our interns fault - he could check there to make sure everything is included - but in the rush it happens. They also serve Chinese food but why would you get that if you could get great sushi. The meals are plated very decoratively when you go there and the same goes for the orders that are to go. I've been to SE Asia-Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Viet Nam, Cambodia and Laos, so I know the food very well. This was not that... it was Chinese trying to make SEA foods. I ordered their version of Kung Pao Chicken. While the chicken and vegetables were cooked perfectly (see pic) however when they hit their salty sauce, it was ruined. They kindly remade it for me and it was the SAME level of saltiness. I ate what didn't hit the salty sauce and left the rest. I swear their sauce tastes like it's made from the pastes you get from the grocery store. So it came time to get my check. It was 17,90 Euro. So I pulled out my Mastercard and the waiter said only cash when bill is below 20 Euro. So my waitress came back because he was annoyed with me. I wanted to make the bill 20 Euro by getting a bottle of water or something. So she brought me water. And I said that if they have a policy about the bill must total 20 Euro to use a credit card that it should be posted. She said that it was on the door in German (see door pics, no mention of credit card minimum) but it was NOT posted. Only eat here if you need salt... the only good thing I tasted was their homemade ice tea.
