I like cosy, clean and tastefully decorated spaces. There needs to be a warm, safe and luxurious feel to the place and I avoid clinical over the top contemporary modern style or places where the girls have these vulgar manicures - no offense. Spasiba is well located on Boulevard de Waterloo. There is plenty of parking outside, so no stress. On arrival you are given a thick cotton dressing gown and comfortable slippers. Then you go through the doors and enter a safe haven of calm. A waiting room lit by candle lights, with oriental sofa beds filled with cushions and curtains for privacy. A sauna and a hammam are also an option prior your massage. After using the spa facilities, relaxing and drinking a infused tea which is placed at your disposal on a table in the waiting room, you are called for your massage. By the time it is finished you can go back to the waiting room and relax, use the spa or take a shower and go home. Last time my massage was so relaxing that I slept for 2 hours straight after! I would give you the names of the masseurs I recommend but if I do that then I might not be able to get appointments for myself any more! I recommend this place and for you to discover!!

I'm unsure if they have a card reader now but please pay on treatwell's site if you want to pay by card, thankfully Maria took us to a bank ATM for us to withdraw cash to pay for our massages, 103 euros. We had initially booked an early morning time but when we arrived, Nadia informed us that we had to come back later as there wasn't a second person, since we weren't busy, we didn't mind. I do think they need to work on this part though. Monitor the treatwell site better so that this doesn't continue to happen, it can be off putting for most people. Nadia and Maria were the two masseuses who did the massages for us. The massages felt great and they were very kind. Although the room setup was strange to us but as we were in Belgium, we didn't think otherwise. It was a dark room with curtains set up between the massage tables and the music was soothing. Great relaxing massages, the hour flew by quickly.

The pedicure was a bit more expensive, but my feet needed a lot of work from walking around so much and they really went the extra mile to clean them up. I also walked in without an appointment and they made time for me. I also didn't have enough cash on me so they allowed me to leave after it was done and come back after I visited an ATM. Will definitely be returning before I leave Belgium
