After being under severe stress to get my repairs done, and before getting estimates from other subs, I reluctantly agreed to Zelle him money for "materials and some labor". Thankfully, before he started, I had another estimate with a more reliable contractor who went ahead and purchased the materials and send me a photo of the receipt. David's "materials costs" were $600, per his proposal and $800 for labor. The better contractor showed a receipt from Lowes for $70 for ALL MATERIALS!! Additionally, the contractor I went with only charged me $400 for labor!!! I immediately requested a refund from David, which he agreed to. Two days later, no refund. I texted him a few times, didn't hear anything back. I even texted him this review, no response! I will now have to file a claim with my bank. He is a total ripoff artist, liar and hounds potential clients until you agree or block him. DO NOT HIRE HIM!! BEWARE! He did no work and isn't willingly giving me my money back! $800!!!! Crazy. He shouldn't even be on Yelp.

We decided to go with Tamer Construction. I was a little nervous as I have heard stories about other contractors from friends and family that were less than spectacular. However, our experience with Tamer was spectacular. From the initial visit to the completion of the project, it was a seemless and hassle free experience. Tom the Project Manager kept us in the loop during the whole remodel. Kyle the Carpenter (Jack of all trades) did an excellent job and always cleaned up his work area. Tony the Tile Contractor did a wonderful job on the tile. It's like artwork. Needless to say I couldn't be happier with the price and the quality of work. I would highly recommend Tamer Construction to anyone looking for a remodel.
