Jim's Barber Shop - Great spot to get a quick hair cut!! - Barbers Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

I wish I could rate this place lower I've never gotten such a bad haircut in my life. I got my hair cut by Anitra who has most likely never cut hair in her life, the whole thing was a shit show. When I sat down she asked me what I wanted to get and I said a burst fade, this woman looked at me like she's never heard English before not only did she not know that simple haircut but the owner did not know what that was either. So instead I just said " fine whatever give me a low taper fade and take off one inch off the top. She cut off at least 3 inches off and destroyed my hair. She couldn't even manage to blend the fade in. I had just gotten my cartilage pierced and I let her know that she hit it a couple of times. She said " oh I thought I was being careful " and later on said " well it's just so impossible to not hit it" after she hit it. I was so angry I didn't even want to pay but I did. I left her nothing for a tip and as I walked out I heard he telling Jim or whoever wow no tip. Terrible terrible terrible. This is the picture I showed her read more

Jim's Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

Great haircut and Beard trim. Little bit of a wait but I was a walk in. I would recommend Jim's Barber shop

Walked in and no one waiting, signed in and sat down waiting for ANY one of the multiple barbers there, and was ignored for 30 minutes while others walked in and sat down. They don't have their stuff together - poor customer service. read more

Same as ThomasC, walked in with no one waiting, signed in and waited 40 minutes watching the barbers mostly talking rather than cutting. I was being ignored so I got up walked out and went to Sports Clips. read more

My husband comes here on a monthly (sometimes six week) basis to get his hair cut. These people are great! He mostly uses John, but has also seen Steve and Anitra. They always listen when he wants something different than his normal clean-up cut. The place has your classic barber shop feel & scent, I remember going as a kid with my PopPop to get his hair cut. This place is timeless but up to date on all the trends and styles. **AWESOME MENTION** Monday through Friday you can come and hit up the Early Bird Special Haircut for $13 until noon. read more

Took my nephew in for a cut. Linda was there and did an unbelievably great job. Set a perfect bald line and faded it seamlessly. She even trimmed eyebrows and used a straight razor to get perfect lines on his beard. Will be going back to her from now on!! read more

My boyfriend did a walk-in for a hair cut and got stellar service. No wait, clean, professional, old school. Loved supporting small business. Bring cash to save the $1 credit card charge though. read more

Worst haircut I have ever gotten. Got a buzzcut and the guy cut extremely far back into my hairline and the worst part is that the line isnt even straight. I literally have to wear a hat after their work. Save yourself and dont go here. read more

I got a good hair cut by a male barber here (can't remember his name) the first time I came. They're very affordable. I see myself coming back here. read more

Lon is a consummate professional. I decided to get all of my hair taken off; and, with an electric razor, Lon got my scalp as smooth as the closest straight razor shave I have ever had on my face. I had absolutely no irritation whatsoever; and, My head was smooth for days. People tell me I look younger now. Thanks, Lon. I'll be back. read more

This is by far one of the greatest barber shops I have ever visited. Its friendly environment and great service is phenomenal. The barbers are off the chain spectacular and on top of all of it the haircuts are very well done. read more

Good for you Jim for opening! You have a Constitutional right to earn a living. Whoever is concerned about their health, DON'T GO THERE! Patronizing the establishment is each and everyone's choice. These barber's have families to Feed. I'm new in Florida and Jim has a new customer, ME! read more

Utterly horrendous. My husband has been growing his hair for 3 years. Went in so they could clean up the line between where it was long and he had the bottom half shaved. The guy went so far up that we had to go home and buzz his entire head. Totally incompetent. DO NOT go here! read more

All other reviews are spot on. Good place with a nice energy! Decent music playing and lots of tvs. Weren't on when I was there but assume they will be when sports start up again. Chris did a great job without too much instruction. Lost one star (should be only 1/2 star) because they charge $1 to use credit card. Not that I don't understand, but a dollar? Bit much; so, just remember to bring your cash! Will be returning. read more

So I'm new to this area and I was looking for a quality barber. I decided to pay this shop a visit. I guess maybe it being Sunday it would've slowed down for the day. I was in there maybe two minutes before John called me up. Sat down, a quick chat and decided what I was going to get done. A short time later I walk out with a fresh cut, exactly what I wanted. Thanks John. read more

Just your classic old neighborhood barber shop. My son gets his haircut here. Ask for Wendy. She is by far the most popular barber here. She does her thing and keeps the line moving. Sign in sheet when you hit the door...don't forget. They prefer cash but have an ATM with a big fee so come prepared. read more

I've been going to Jim's for around 5 years now and the place has a great feel to it. Anitra always gives me a fantastic cut. There are many other barbers there who are great as well. Always busy but it goes quickly. Good prices and cash is preferred. read more

Jim's barbershop is nothing but a hole in the wall barber shop. I was very displeased with my service absolute worst haircut I've ever gotten. The man did not listen to what I asked for and cut way too much Karah I asked for half an inch to be taking off of the several inches of hair that I had and he brought it down to a number three after that he Sprayed my hair and then proceeded to buzz it with a razor leaving the tiniest little piece of hair all over my neck face and body that he was unable to remove. Aside from the fact that all your barbers are always sitting on their asses scrolling their phones barely making eye contact when I walk in this was the biggest disappointment at a barbershop I have ever had in 25 years read more

I was a walk in sat there Half an hour when other walk ins asked about how much longer it would be. Some of whom were already waiting an hour. The barbers were smart and rude with them. So, I left without getting a cut. Because I didn't want to wait longer to give a rude barber an extravagant amount of money for a haircut. read more

Great barbershop with great barbers. Always crowded but never a long wait. Usually a great hair cut.

Great place, I went with my son who got a haircut from Chris, great guy and good with the kids. Jackie cut my hair, she was very nice and gave me a good haircut. Old school barber shop, good barbers and fair prices, we have found our new place to get our hair cut. read more

I brought my son (5yrs old) in as a walk-in. We waited maybe 3 1/2 minutes and saw John. John did a wonderful job! It was a quick and on point. I am sending my bf there as he and my son usually go to Supercuts... DEFINITELY much better at Jims!! They will both be going there from now on!! read more
