Unless you are Caucasian or Euro-Hispanic, they will brush your hair BACK to edge you up!?! WTH? My husband had to basically walk the barber step by step on how to cut his hair. He was nice, but had no clue... Mickey, another barber cut our Son's hair. The next day my son developed. BUMPS IN THE BACK OF HIS HEAD!!! This later manifested into a RINGWORM!! My son has been getting his hair cut since 2 years old and this has NEVER happened! THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY CLEAN THEIR CLIPPER BUT THEY DON'T. Fades look great and and the line up are tight. The work and atmosphere are great. My negative review is that they raised their prices by almost 50%. As someone else mentioned, Dappers is somewhat out of place in the plaza that it is in. Don't let that persuade you. I live in Wellington and had been struggling to find a place that could provide a top quality haircut and beard trim at a price that didn't leave me wanting to wait a few extra weeks before coming back (yeah i'm looking at you Roosters with your ridiculous prices). Anyways finally went and did in fact get a perfect cut and trim. Chris was on time and surprisingly fast without skipping out on any quality. While I was getting my cut I noticed the barbers without customers all huddled around one of the senior barbers watching and learning. It's the barbers that make a shop, and it seems everyone there not only wants to be there but wants to be the best they can be. Their rating is DESERVED and well EARNED. Got my hair did by Chris who seems to be the owner of the shop. But as I looked around, everyone was doing their thing and on point... Great energy from the minute I walked in, and they are more a family than coworkers. Everyone takes their time and makes sure the work is right. They take pride in what they do! Just got my first haircut at Dapper. It's 5 stars no problem. The shop itself is cool so don't be put off by the shopping center (look towards the corner for the red letters that spell barber - that's Dapper.) Chris understood what I asked for and he delivers. And he can be fast. They're under $20 so be sure to tip your barber (they're worth a lot!) Probably the happiest I've ever been with a stylish cut that's radical for me. Make this you're place (and I think they do kids but ask.) Chris works 6 days a week and he'll schedule appointments by phone or on the Dapper website. This place is happening. read more
