At least that was the plan... until he called me with a blown transmition in Trinidad, CO. Not only did he have a blown transmition but he had 4000 pounds of tools in the bed of his truck. So just having the truck towed to a shop...was not an option. We needed the truck 100% protected from theft. After making 5 calls to various businesses in hopes of storing/keeping the truck for a few days...my confidence was dwindling quickly. On the 6th call, I got in touch with Angie @ JM Tire & Repair/Towing. Not only did she seriously step down my frustration level....she basically solved all of our issues on that one call. She towed the truck to Low Buck Storage, which her and her husband also own....she met us there at 9PM and allowed us to store the truck w/ tools for 3 days INSIDE a personal garage of hers, until my "AAA" kicked in. On Monday, "AAA" contacted JM Towing (Angies business) and had them tow the truck up to my mechanic in Denver. The tow was free with my "AAA" and when I called to pay Angie for her services, I spoke to her husband and he said there would be no change. WHAT? Are you kidding me? That's impossible!! No one, much less a business does something for free anymore. It was refreshing, it was kind, they will always have my business AND I want to tell everyone about it. Our tow truck driver was personable, kind and so ready to do whatever he could to make us comfortable and lower our frustration. It was an overall awesome experience. I picked my cousin up in Trinidad, and booked him a flight from Denver for Sunday..........and he made it to his new job, just like we planned !! Thank you Angie, her husband and our awesome tow truck driver.

I should have took the hint when I was trying to move a vehicle from outside storage out of this…read moreplace from one of the guys who works there who told me had drifters coming in and trying to sell him spare tires and wheels he thought they were stealing from around the Trinidad area. Months later when I came to get some things out of an enclosed, padlocked storage unit, I found the lock had on the unit was gone and another one put on. I thought at first management has cut the lock off, but it was some thief who stole stuff worth about a thousand bucks, but left behind stuff worth more. They were after the easy to transport and sell stuff, not the hard to sell and trace kind. Storage units are in short supply in this area, so beggars can't be choosers, and too bad too as the thiefs are sure to keep rolling into this place and pulling the same stuff till either Las Animas County Sheriff or the management does something about it.

Being required to sign a new contract for Rv storage "in person" after just signing (2 months ago) when we pre-paid a one year in advance lease w/previous owners. Wasted 1.5 hours Saturday meeting their unnecessary demands. Can't sign by US postal mail, won't allow email signature, docu-sign or any other convenient means. Because apparently everyone can't be trusted unless they are standing in office and signing. What a disappointment. What a waste of time. They don't care.

Every time I call to cancel my tenancy and inform someone I've moved out, the "manager" claims that he doesn't handle money and that the owner is "out of town" and will call me. I've also emailed and not heard back. Now the "manager" mysteriously is remembering that I must have left things in my unit (things that I never even owned) and that he will be keeping my deposit. This is a nightmare business to deal with. Run while you can!!
