My husband was being relocated, so technically we were supposed to use one of the company's appointed real estate agents, but I stumbled upon Anne's website through a mutual friend who had used her to sell their home in Tacoma and I immediately liked her online persona. I then found out from my neighbors that Anne had sold the house next door to us, as well as the one directly behind us (in about a week!). I knew immediately that we needed to hire Anne. So we jumped through a few hoops with our relocation company to allow us to use a different realtor. Now that our house has officially sold, I can say that this was truly the best decision we could have made. In fact the realtors that our company had selected for us had told us they were going to list our home for roughly 50-75K less than what Anne suggested listing it at. Now that it has closed, had we gone with the other realtors we would have left at least 50K on the table. That is a lot of extra money we made thanks in large part to Anne! She is so knowledgeable about the University Place market, she knew things about our house and location that even we didn't know. She went above and beyond our wildest expectations as a realtor. She answered our questions (many many questions!!) via text and email almost immediately... and this is over the course of three months from listing to final close! He was extremely rude, when I told him I was interested in a property he was selling he said, "Okay." When I proceeded to ask him if I could look at the property he said, "Go by whenever you want." I'll admit I'm newer to land buying, so I need a little more help than the average buyer, but I was taken aback by how short and unhelpful he was. He then proceeded to talk me out of going to look at the property by telling me the land was basically useless and that it should go to a developer. If your listing a property on Crescent Valley Dr with this guy, I would strongly recommend getting a new listing agent.
