I had an appointment for 9am this morning for smog and oil change. When I tried to check in they told me the smog tech doesn't work weekdays... even though I had an appointment they couldn't be happier about sending me away. The last time I went to this location for an oil change they "didn't have the right oil" EVEN THOUGH I HAD AN APPOINTMENT that time as well and was clear about my vehicle and equipped engine. This time I brought my own oil to protect against an unprepared team but alas... still no dice. The owner obviously doesn't have a handle on the business, no one is reviewing reservations, and the availability the store controls isn't being managed. read more

The only way share my experience with is only by giving one star but I would give cero if I could. The staff is very nasty, the guy who received outside gave me a vary stupid comment like why all you guys are coming at this time (it was 5:04 pm) there were four cars in front of me and tree behind me, then he said "it's only gonna take 30 minutes for you car to get done and then they took 1 hour and 20 minutes just to get an oil change, plus there was one car who came after me and then they got it done first than mine and for the same service, and the woman at the front desk was like "sorry". Carrillo Street Location, Santa Barbara.This location has a service manager , Andy , that is excellent at customer service. I had a little glitch happen with the service timing and he paid a great deal of attention to not only apologize but to make it right. There was accountability and he won my business in the future. I love this location. People that work here are friendly and kind. This is a great location. Great customer service, friendly staff and they were fast! I was able to drop my car off during my lunch time and pick it up afterwards which was huge relief for me considering I was traveling the next day early morning. I had gone to fast Lane oil change on upper State Street and have the worst experience. I contacted Jiffy lube in Santa Barbara off of West Carillo St and spoke with Julio V. Who promptly got me truck in the bay to address my AC no cold air issue. Julio was extremely helpful and was transparent regarding pricing and possible further diagnostic work if needed in addressing and resolving my AC issue. The work was performed in a quick and efficient manner and he was able to fix my AC at a bargain. Finally my AC is blowing ice cold! My wife and I are visiting from the bay area, we were worried when we heard my car making a rattling noise. I drive a 2016 Honda Fit so I can't see under my car with it being so close to the ground. Come to find that the splash shield beneath my car was hanging off. I know nothing about cars so I really appreciated when Christian took the time to explain how/why this happened. Even showed me the shield so I could see the damage up close. He took care of it and we were out in a short amount of time. Great service! read more

The team did such an excellent job providing routine maintenance on my car! Laura was extremely warm, knowledgeable and supportive in answering all my questions about the service. They went over and beyond to check that everything is working properly, changed my oil and replaced my filters at a very reasonable price. They also offered to get me a quote for new tires since mine are worn out and let me know that I had 2 lights that would need to be changed out at a car repair shop. Oil change was done great. Recommendation to change both ball joints was wrong per 2nd opinion by certified inspector. The ball joints were fine and so were the brakes, which they recommended to be replaced soon as well. read more

Customer Service is top notch. The actual car service is also spot on. I went to Jiffy Lube on a last minute need of an oil and a filter change. I have been using the same mechanic for over 10 years before trying someone new. Turns out Jiffy Lube does fantastic work and it's worth the price. A few times I have taken my vehicles in they have gone above to make sure I'm aware of the up keep on my cars but never pushing to buy anything. Makes you feel welcomed and that they are there to help maintain your car. They are fast also! It took me more time to write this then they finished my car. A joke. I had a previous bad experience with the old Jiffy Lube location. They didn't fasten the skid plate under my car after changing the oil. The new location sent a coupon and I thought I'd give it a try. After checking me in and having to wait an hour they then informed me that they don't have the oil type needed for my car. It's a VW TDI FYI. How they didn't check that when they first checked me in? Never giving them another chance. read more

Went in for a oil change, things seem good. I parked the car after three days of driving left town for three months and came back to find my car in a pool of oil. The car was totally drained. They didn't get the plug-in correctly or the washer was needing to be replaced. They did, take care of it and didn't charge me for the oil change. But now my car is still leaking oil. I need to take it in and get it resolved. read more

The service itself was fine. The issue is value: $39 for an inspection that took all of 15 minutes? That's $156/hour! Outrageous! I'm fairly certain that the mechanics are not paid $30+/hour, so this is just a money grab. Shame on you Jiffy Lube! read more

It's good with the Groupon and Yelp. I keep coming here for no frets oil changes but also forget to leave a review. This is deserved since I'm always listed the estimate before and it's often a few bucks lower than their estimate in the end. No frills, service was fast with the change. Penzoil is decent for what you get here and they do it in 30 minutes. Add topping off radiator fluids, a $20 oil filter and a $30 tire rotation and it's a above above in price, but with Groupon and Yelp promos that total of doing all that gets lowered by about 25%, which imo is good. This place is close to my house and very convenient but it's also first come first served. I go mornings since that's when it's least crowded and it's open saturday and sunday on reduces hours. don't bother coming here if your year of vehicle is in the 1990's. they won't have it in their system and therefore wont change your oil due to liability issues. Been to jiffy lube in other Cities consistently for 15 years. Even had a sticker on the windshield from my last oil change at jiffy lube. read more

i asked to have a tailight replaced. they said they didn't know how. when they qere done changing the oil, I asked if they had reset the dash light. they said they had. they had not. I had to turn right around and go back. they put a sticker on my windshield that said that my next oil change was due in 85,000 miles. clearly the weong sticker. check your work. pay attention to detail. train your employees properly. thank tou for reading read more

Had a great experience at the new Jiffy Lube on Carrillo. I was sad when the JL at the corner of De La Vina and Carrillo closed. However, they seemed to have replicated themselves right down the street. As before, everyone was very polite, the service was efficient, and they perform nice little extras like vacuuming your front floor mats. I was on vacation, about to drive back home to Orange County, when my tire pressure light came on at 5pm on Sunday. I searched everywhere in Santa Barbara for someplace that was open, and it showed online that this place was open til 6. When I arrived, it looked closed and I was sooo sad. But I called out to see if anyone was around and the kindest man named Sammy popped his head out of the office. He informed me that they were closed at 5, and it was around 515 at that time. I explained our situation and he was incredible. He offered so generously to look at my tires and fill my tires with air and even looked in my engine quickly. He absolutely didn't need to help us, but his kindness made such a huge impact on my family to allow us to make the long drive home without worrying. Amazing customer service!!! read more

I posted a review last month and gave this Jiffy Lube a 3 star. I went in for a signature oil change and part of the components to the oil change were missing. I came back in today (one month later) to get a top off and I was told there was no oil in my car. Julio was the one who helped me with my top off. He was patient with me and answered all of my questions. He was also very knowledgeable about the situation I was in. He served me with a smile and made sure all of my concerns and questions were answered. Whenever I go back to Jiffy Lube I will ALWAYS ask for Julio because he is the definition of someone with EXCELLENT customer service!!!! read more
