Went there today with my wife, she walked through the door first while I was driving up. They immediately quoted her 111.49$ for an oil change on a Toyota Corolla IM. Synthetic oil. I went in and told them that was too much. They drove my car out and said then go somewhere else. Went to Midas right down the road. Paid 88.98$. I do not know if it was because they saw a women first or are just massively overpriced. But that was a silly amount for an oil change. Considering that was before TAX and before they try to add in Air Filter Changes and other services. Shame really.. I used to be all about the Jiffy Lube. read more

Had my oil changed recently and with 3000 miles to go before next oil change the oil light came on. Checked oil which was very low and was very dark in color. 2019 Sonata that does not burn oil. Old oil was partially drained and not replaced. Will not go back read more

Went for an oil change, they did not try to up sell anything, they referenced that air filters were changed at my last oil change and they still looked good, was quick and easy. Literally in and out in no time. Excellent service for the price read more

Had an Oil change done today 8/13/20 several things happened... Oil was changed and that's it. no tire pressure check (TPMS light on too) no windshield washer fluid, no wiper, or light check. I understand the vacuum not being done due to the China virus. But all other stuff was not done. Sad to say I won't be back and had 2 other cars I was going to have done today (rainy day) only Caveat was discount for Police, Fire, health care workers in time when some Companies are running away from that. It truly disappoints me to have to write this review because as a lifelong Fairhaven resident, I had always brought my cars to Jiffy Lube for my oil changes but NEVER AGAIN. After my girlfriend went here for an oil change and had told me that she felt she had been taken advantage of after being told "she needed synthetic oil due to the mileage" for her practically brand new Jeep with under 50,000 miles which led to a $125 bill, I still decided to give them a chance and brought my car there. The FIRST THING out of the mechanic's mouth was "you know you're going to need synthetic oil for that right?". So I said sure, and left there with a $135 bill FOR AN OIL CHANGE. But it gets better. They said they checked my transmission fluid. False, I had to fill it. They put on the receipt that I declined windshield washer fluid and to vacuum the rugs. False, my windshield washer refill message was on the dash and they never asked me about either. But still, it gets better. Since that oil change last week, my car has been making an AWFUL rattling noise. Well, on top of everything else they were too lazy to address, they also didn't tighten the bolts on the protective shield under my car so it was loose and rattling, which I had to fix myself. Nothing like jacking up your car by hand in the cold to fix things they screwed up after completely ripping you off!! Absolutely disgusted with the work this place has done/continues to do and I just wish I would've read all these other reviews before I came here. read more

LISTEN UP WOMEN!!! Now that I have your attention, please stay the hell away from this business. The fact that I have to write this in 2017 is pretty disgusting. These guys see us and clearly think we are stupid. I got told that my car requires "only synthetic" oil which is a complete and total lie from anywhere. They will also pull out some ratty filter that they probably use as a prop for every time a woman walks through the door. They'll tell you that that's your car's filter and you need to replace it for another $30. Even if I did need to replace my filer, I can go online and get one for a few bucks and install it myself. Jiffy Lube employees: With Google, YouTube and everything in between, anyone can educate themselves to find out that NO basic vehicle requires only takes synthetic oil, so just stop it. Synthetic is a choice for pretty much every vehicle except some high-performance vehicles, so be grateful for the extra $$$ when someone elects to put that in their vehicle for their own reasons. Try having a discussion and treating your customers with respect instead of resorting to deception just to make a buck. What's better - getting the standard $30-$40 for a regular oil change and having repeat customers, or getting ZERO dollars and a review like this one? read more

Just got a regular oil change done here. The guy that greeted me and did upper bay (receipt says his name is Austin) was really pleasant and helpful to me. Explained stuff about oil viscosity that I didn't know without making me feel like an idiot. Didn't give me a hard time when I asked to use my own oil & filter. Didn't try to do the whole, "while you're here, your car needs a new blah blah blah or it's gonna explode" spiel to get me to spend more money on something I don't need. Just all around good customer service. Thanks Austin. Wow. I do believe this is the first time I've ever seen every review for a place give one star. Quite an accomplishment in the most negative way possible. There is a really good long post further down than mine so I won't repeat everything but I was another culprit in the scam telling me I needed to use synthetic oil. So they got their extra twenty bucks but they will never ever see me again and yet another person saying don't ever go to this place. How can that possibly be a good business plan? I also expressed my disgust to Jiffy Lube in their emailed survey. Not that is going to change a a single thing. They literally have been on this scam for decades. read more

Only use this place when my regular guy is closed and it can't wait. I got charged $62.55 for an oil change. They didn't bother to vacuum. Done in less than 15 minutes. I think I won't go there again. I'm sure I can get overcharged elsewhere where they will at least top off fluids and vacuum. read more

I will never have service done at this Jiffy Lube again. The people who work there are incompetent and you leave there with broken pieces when all they are supposed to do is change your oil. I went to the manager to see if he would rectify the situation and he gave me no solutions other than putting all the broken pieces back up with zip ties. I asked for a refund and they denied it! I didnt even ask them to replace what they broke!!!Completely unacceptable!!! They lost a customer for life!!!!! Don't go here unless you plan on paying for broken pieces yourself with no compassion because the employees did not do their job!!!! read more

I have been taking 3 of our 4 family cars to this Jiffy Lube for pretty regular oil changes for over 10 years. During the recent freezing temperatures, I had a low tire and all outdoor air pumps were out of service. I went to JL Fairhaven to see if they would pump up one tire (I was in a car that I do not service at JL because of the make) and was told they would only top off air for cars they service. I told them I have been a customer with 3 other cars for 10 years; response was "sorry, no." That's not my idea of customer service; you have lost my business for good. read more

Went there 9/9 for an oil change. on 9/10 my engine guard came off on the highway. Went to them about it, and regional manager told me he'd see me in court. This guard is maybe $100.00 at the most, and I am a credible guy, who takes care of his car, and have never tried to get someone to pay for something they shouldn't have, Shame on them. Stay away. Jiffy Lube tries to take advantage of a woman yet again. I stopped into this location today to get an oil change and to have my car battery checked. My car was running well with just a slightly slower than normal turnover. The technician told me my battery was low and asked if I wanted to get a new battery while I was there. I said no, and that we would take care of it another day as it didn't seem emergent and my car was running perfectly. The oil change was done incredibly fast (a little TOO fast, as I later learned that none of my fluids were topped off) and I left the garage. By the time I got to the first set of lights, I noticed my radio wasn't working. Then I realized there was no power to any of my interior lights, and no clock. When I got home, my car alarm did not set either. I wondered if this was THE biggest coincidence of all time, and my battery chose this exact moment to start dying out of nowhere, or if there was some kind of mistake at Jiffy Lube. I called them, and they told me that they tested the battery but didn't do anything that would cause these issues. They told me my battery was probably on its way out, even after I stated that everything was working perfectly just 20 minutes prior. My husband came home an hour later and took a look at all the fuses to see if any of them had blown. Turns out, the main fuse for all the interior function hadn't blown, it was MISSING. The guys at Jiffy Lube will deny they took it out in an attempt to trick a woman into thinking she needed a battery. There is no doubt that this is exactly what happened. I am still shocked to know that men are still taking advantage of women in his way, like we are so naive to just believe everything you say. This experience is extremely disappointing and to all the mechanics out there who do good, honest work, we thank you. read more

That was a lie , was told my cabin filters were dirty , i had just had them replaced a week before , another lie . ok so shame on me for giving them one more chance . i drove my car up to the bay as usual ,there were cars already being serviced so ok i'll wait , as i am waiting i notice the technician move my car and move another customers car ahead of mine . Don't walk, run away from this place. Brought my wifes 1999 Toyota Corolla for an oil change, Service tech had no clue, could not find holder to keep hood up, used a piece of pipe. then could not get hood closed had to call someone else over to close hood. Person in pit replaced drain plug only hand tightened, drain plug fell out on way home, lost all oil causing catastrophic engine damage.
