I hate going to these places, they are never genuine, or treat your vehicle with respect! It's paying for someone to break your stuff. They just pull things out and don't care for your car. My husband usually changes my oil and anything to do with my car but he wasn't available. Sadly, I had to bring my baby to people who could care less about her. Had my check engine light come on, stopped in and asked them if they could run the codes. "That'll be $39.99." Are you kidding me?? I could BUY a code reader for less than half that. I explained that I regularly get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube and I showed them the sticker in my window from Jiffy Lube from just last month. "Sorry, it'll be $39.99." I asked if they could please just do it this one time as a courtesy for a loyal customer. "Nope, it's $39.99." Really?? Really?? It's such a simple thing to do for a loyal customer... I like these folks, but yeah, the upsells definitely are an issue. Hard to get out of there paying ANYTHING close to the price they advertise, even for just an oil change. But I still give them 4 stars for good service at what they do. I had a breakdown once RIGHT in front of their place and came in to ask if anyone had a tow rope to help me off the road into the parkinglot so I'm not blocking traffic. Nope. I've been a regular customer for awhile now. Last time, they filled my tires (great) but as they did, they stripped my metal tire valve stems and put them on so tight that it screwed up one of the stems. I tried to let them know their mistake but the manager was rude and refused to take any responsibility. All I expected was an apology and to let them know they shouldn't use tools on metal valve stems or tighten them too tight in the future, but she was worthless to try to communicate with. She blamed the weather and general wear-n-tear. Ok, lady. Let's just go with that. I'll go elsewhere from now on. read more

You may not think much of Jiffy Lube as you drive by on your way to work or wherever it is you're going. I got my oil changed there yesterday evening and had the best experience. They were fast, efficient and polite. Not only do they change your oil they also check your tire pressure, do a bumper to bumper inspection AND they vaccuum your car! The manager and staff were incredibily polite and I seriously had the best oil change EVER there. I actually got the same service while I was living in Fargo from the Jiffy Lube there but I'm just so impressed that it was as good at another location. It's so good and consistent I just had to share. It's proof positive of a solid business model, a great training program and finding people that actually care about doing a good and consistent job. read more

Just got SCREWED by jiffy lube!!!! These guys are honestly crooks. I am in college in Bismarck and i saw advertised that there was 20% off oil changes for college students. So, i called and and asked how much it would cost to get the oil changed in my pickup. They told me it would be around 39$ plus the student discount. I normally take it to Theel to get the oil changed. That is where the truck was originally purchased from. I decided to take my truck to jiffy lube because as a college student, a 39$ oil change sounded more appealing to me than a 70$ oil change. So i dropped my truck off at jiffy lube, and 15 minutes later (after they had already drained the old oil out), they call me and ask me what type of oil i wanted. They went and named off 3 different types of oil that were recommended, and i told them to use the cheapest one. They told me it would be 90$......... I instantly questioned that price, telling them that i had just called the previous day and had been told that it would be 39$ to have the oil changed in my truck. I then asked how much it would cost after the student discount, and in the background, i hear the guy next to the lady i was on the phone with say "this guy really wants us to figure out how much its gonna be, this kid is in college for a reason, tell him to figure it out himself"..... As a student majoring in business, that is about the last thing you want a customer to hear you say about them. What an idiot!!! So i get the 90$ oil put in my truck, and when I go and pick it up I find out its only good for 3000 miles???? Long story short, I should have just taken my truck to Theel's to get the oil changed. They only charge 70$ and I can drive 5000 miles before having to come in to get my oil changed again. Long story short, DO NOT get your oil changed at Jiffy Lube on south washington in Bismarck. They will Royally fuck you over!!!! Everyone please learn from my mistake. When to this service center the employees not only stole property from inside my vehicle but tried to sell me several products that I very clearly didn't need, and when I ask for these supposedly damaged parts that they had already replaced without my permission to be given back to me, suddenly the parts were not damaged at all. After the service I sat in the parking lot in called the Jiffy Lube corporate customer service number, and in response the service center manager called the police reporting that I was harassing them by not leaving the parking lot while I made my complaint from inside my car Which was parked outside their service center. Customer service and the franchise owner made absolutely 0 effort whatsoever to resolve the issue. After police told the service center manager that I was not harassing them the manager lied to the police telling them that there were drugs in my vehicle. I allowed the police to search my vehicle both with officers and a canine and they found No drugs. In other wordsThe manager called the police on me about my customer service complaints about his incompetency. And again absolutely no help whatsoever from corporate customer service or the franchise owner. This is a horrible business they provide horrible customer service, anyone considering their service should go to Valvoline instead. Realistically any Service center of at all that is not a Jiffy Lube would be better. read more

I have done business with Jiffy Lubes in others parts often country, and this one before, but I will not go back to this one. The employee was rude and extremely aggressive and tried to start up-selling before I really had time to get out of my vehicle. After I indicated I just wanted an oil change, he got an attitude problem and did a poor job servicing vehicle - he didn't finish all the items on their check list and blamed me. read more

Technicians intentionally damaged part of my car to sell replacement part, installed replacement part without talking to me. When i asked for ther old part back, suddenly it was not damaged the way they had been saying it was for ten minutes. When i asked for the corporate number, and went to my car in the parking lot to call, the manager called the police on me for harassment. When the police said making a phone call in my own car in the parking lot was not harassment, the manager lies again and says i have drugs in my car. Needless to say the police made a report of the damage and i was on my way. The next day, the franchise owner calls me screaming that her employees have never lied ever, and she doesn't need to look at the cameras, cause i just have damaged my own car, from the basement of their store, while they were servicing my car......, she then screamed to call her lawyer and hung up refusing to provide a name or phone number of said attorney. i finally found a competent employee at corporate, but i would recommend taking your vehicle to absolutely anywhere accept this place. read more
