They are also open very late to midnight and after that if you ring first to tell them you are coming. Great for emergencies. The pharmacy does a prescription collection service if you have repeat prescriptions. There are about 5 make-up counters inside, each with an advisor. My personal favourite is benefit. They have public toilets with baby changing and also a large selection of baby products for sale with larger items like sterilisers available. The childrens clothes range is medium sized and they have a range of sizes available. The counter staff and floor staff are polite, helpful and friendly and it never feels like you are a burden if you ask them for some help. The photo department is great for camera film and digital photo prints, and they have a body monitor here to measure height weight and bmi. The last thing to mention is the food area. There are a range of cold sandwiches, wraps and salads available along with chocolate and crisps, and a large diabetic range of foods.

A few times I just leave it and pick up the next day. There are times when the pharmacist discusses your meds with you right out in the open, although this doesn't overly bother me, if I had a sensitive condition I don't know if I'd be that impressed. Out the back, they also dump huge amounts rubbish and trash which can't be nice for the residents around here. But in the main, efficient service and drugs in stock. I have even found it cheaper to buy toiletries in here then in the Tesco a couple of doors down. The service is always quick and the staff are polite and very helpful, even holding the door open for me so I could get my pushchair out.

Further downstairs are self check outs with only one counter staff member. Long queue fir staff member customers need to have the opportunity fir a face to face. Not only are we being forced to undertake the work of the staff but can forsee staff redundancies. Hiw sad we now have a machine to talk to, a difficult journey to prescriptions.

Upstairs are childrens and babies' toys, clothes, bottles, nappies etc. There is also a large section for gifts, electrical items, swimwear, sun cream and sunglasses. There is a photo section there where they can process your photos and sell you cameras, printers, albums and picture frames.

This branch is similar in size and stock to most Boots you'll find in train stations, so you'll find the basis and a bit more. There's also a separate Boots Opticians a few doors down.

The staff are permenant and the faces you see on a day to day basis are the same and they are very friendly and helpful and you feel you are chatting to a friend in here. The pharmacist is the same one on each occassion which makes it easier to talk to him when you need items. There are a range of products available including adult medicins and childrens items and the advice is freely available and very helpful. They also sell toiletries such as toothbrushes, nappies, bubble baths etc and a small range of perfume gift sets. This is my local pharmacy and i use it for all of my medical needs. All my repeat prescriptions are on a collection service and they are prompt and excellent.
