He arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem. Some of the sealant around the roof vents had deteriorated and caused the leaks. Zane and his assistant inspected and resealed every vent on the roof. All done in about an hour and a half from phone call to finish. The cost was more than reasonable too. We will definitely use Legacy again for any future roofing work.

I got 1/4 acre of just grass at the house and 3 weeks without water would have killed most of it. Nathan has a very full plate too, but I cried hard enough that he eventually said they could squeeze us in to see what was going on. Showed up right on time today on a Monday morning. They fixed the system and fined tuned everything so that we are back to how it was when we bought the house 8 years ago... You deliberately misled and withheld information to maximize your profit. You explicitly stated…read morethat this was a fee you paid. There was never any discussion of contingency. You used an inflated estimate and knowingly exploited it to extract every possible penny. You were fully aware that this estimate was inflated and did not accurately represent the actual cost of roof replacement. You also knew that due to my specific policy, you were not working with the insurance company; this was essentially a cash job. You were also aware that I would be out of pocket above the insurance payment. You chose to take a calculated risk that I would not be prudent enough to obtain multiple estimates. All three additional estimates were $17,000 lower than yours. Had you adopted a different business model, we wouldn't be facing this issue, and you would have earned my business. That was entirely your decision. It was also my decision not to work with a contractor who would knowingly and intentionally attempt to maximize his earnings, if possible, at the expense of the homeowner. I would have been at a significant disadvantage had I proceeded with you. You would have been the sole beneficiary of that working relationship. Additionally, I have documentation that clearly states that you explicitly stated this was your fee. Regarding your "business decision" to cut your losses, you and I both know that's not what transpired. You are not out any money. You were not supposed to pass that fee on to customers in the first place. That is your fee to pay. In fact, you were informed that you are not permitted to pass that fee on to customers in the future, which you agreed not to do
