Jewsters was one of my favourites places to go for lunch when I stayed in Aberdeen. I often went there with my friends. The front of the shop is rather small so occasionally the queue can be out of the door at lunch time. It is basically a sandwich shop where you choose what filling you would like and whether you would like a white or brown baguette. The fillings are really nice and range from prawn marie rose, tuna mayonnaise, egg mayonnaise to chicken, ham, beef, bacon and of course you can choose if you would like salad. I have always found that the staff are very generous with their fillings and I find it can be too much but better that they are over-generous than stingy. The prices are excellent - only £2-3 depending mainly on your filling. If you're lucky you may even get a baguette fresh from the oven. read more
