What a great experience! I had not ridden a bike in 15 years, but kept my motorcycle endorsement. I…read moream looking to get back into riding, but wasn't sure how I was going to get some riding skills back before purchasing a new bike. Most motorcycle rental places I've seen only rent big Harley's and other more advanced bikes and want you to have a lot of recent experience on big bikes. I stumbled across 2 Wheels in Motion and found that they cater to new/returning riders as well as experienced riders. The owner, Kim, was great to work with and put up with my multiple emails wondering about how the rental would work and the bikes. She also offers a great hourly price (along with full days) that worked out great for me as I work on getting skills and confidence back. We decided on a Yamaha 650 as a good bike to rent. However, after a couple minutes on the bike that had floor boards and a clutch that didn't engage until the last little bit of the release, we could both tell I was going to struggle for a while. She had a Vulcan 500 that was a much better bike for me to get re-acquainted with riding on and pulled it out and got it ready. She gave me a few more pointers and reminders and I was off. The business is located in a private airport and there was a ton of straight aways that were perfect for practicing. There is also a little mildly twisty road that was a good 3-4 mile run just outside the airport that was great once I got some confidence. I definitely plan to rent from Kim again. Very reasonable terms/pricing and Kim is super nice and very helpful. Next time I'll get something a little larger and closer to what I will probably end up buying. Also - she has a ton of helmets, jackets, and gloves that she'll let you borrow if you need them (no charge).

Many people who were in the same situation as me (the caretaker) recommended Bec-n-Call. Randy, the owner, was always available to answer our questions, always accommodating, on time, reliable and passionate about his business. What else could you ask for? My father passed away 2 years ago and naturally this type service became out of sight out of mind when I didn't need it anymore. Recently, my 89 y/o mom stopped driving. I posted on our local "Nextdoor" social media asking for transportation recommendations. Hands down, Bec-n-Call customers came out of the woodwork! Randy still has a solid reputation for reliability and safety. Needlessly to say, we're back! He remembered me and I appreciated that. Five Stars!
