Faith without works is Dead! Why isn't the Church doing it job and ministering Jesus to these people and helping them out of their social dilemma. How is God receiving any honor or glory from this? Pastor Solomon consistently gives sermons that are as good as, or better than, any I have ever seen or heard. So this review is about my experience renting the church as a location for a recent independent film/television shoot. I wanted to use the auditorium to stage a comedy scene because it was the perfect backdrop for what we were looking for, and the location representatives/lighting engineer had quick and complete control over the lighting grid to make adjustments on the fly, exactly the way we wanted. It was very easy to park and easy to access the location--parking was right next to the building and behind a fence so the crew felt safe leaving their cars there. It was incredibly easy to set up the rental and the paperwork was handled digitally (save the trees!) They even had customized signs made for us to direct the cast and crew exactly to the right place, and we had ample seating and room to take breaks (with comfy couches laid out for us), as well as clean bathrooms and nice accommodations. We EVEN were given the wifi password. If you need a location to film a scene in a large church auditorium, don't hesitate to ask for Gabrielle--the church's rates are reasonable, the hours are accommodating, the location is clean, and the lighting is adjustable. Can't recommend it enough!

Night to Shine is an unforgettable worldwide celebration event, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs... until all are celebrated! Once again, we came together as a community to celebrate Night to Shine event on February 6th. I had the honored to be part of this amazing event. During the night we were running low on materials, by the grace of God miraculously we had exactly what we needed to make 95 corsages and boutonnières. All 35 corsages and 65 boutonnières were made in 3. 5 hours. The volunteers are amazing with no previous experience at all. I am always amazed how much love, care and humankind these volunteers give unconditionally.

I'm sorta thinking that any church in Los Angeles needs to be hyper-vigilant about speaking out against prototypical Los Angeles New Age practices that were kicked out of the church in the first century (Read Irenaeus).
