The pastor, Scott Wood, is passionately devoted to Christ and to his church, and I actually look forward to Sunday morning services! Unlike other churches I have attended in the past, I don't have to act more "spiritual" in order to fit in. I also love that this church is not cliquey and we all get along and support each other equally. Pastor Al is very down to earth and relatable. He is easy going, easy to talk to, and always has a compassionate listening ear. I also appreciate that Perch does not shy away from important topics that can be taboo in other churches such as: racism, spiritual abuse, spiritual trauma, and social justice issues. Pastor Solomon consistently gives sermons that are as good as, or better than, any I have ever seen or heard. The entire community has been incredibly welcoming, earnest, and show their dedication to one another. So this review is about my experience renting the church as a location for a recent independent film/television shoot. I wanted to use the auditorium to stage a comedy scene because it was the perfect backdrop for what we were looking for, and the location representatives/lighting engineer had quick and complete control over the lighting grid to make adjustments on the fly, exactly the way we wanted. It was very easy to park and easy to access the location--parking was right next to the building and behind a fence so the crew felt safe leaving their cars there. It was incredibly easy to set up the rental and the paperwork was handled digitally (save the trees!) They even had customized signs made for us to direct the cast and crew exactly to the right place, and we had ample seating and room to take breaks (with comfy couches laid out for us), as well as clean bathrooms and nice accommodations. We EVEN were given the wifi password. If you need a location to film a scene in a large church auditorium, don't hesitate to ask for Gabrielle--the church's rates are reasonable, the hours are accommodating, the location is clean, and the lighting is adjustable. Can't recommend it enough!

Night to Shine is an unforgettable worldwide celebration event, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs... until all are celebrated! Once again, we came together as a community to celebrate Night to Shine event on February 6th. I had the honored to be part of this amazing event. During the night we were running low on materials, by the grace of God miraculously we had exactly what we needed to make 95 corsages and boutonnières. All 35 corsages and 65 boutonnières were made in 3. 5 hours. The volunteers are amazing with no previous experience at all. I am always amazed how much love, care and humankind these volunteers give unconditionally.

The entire building, and every detail feels elegant and sacred. The clergy and church community are warm, respectful and very welcoming. It could be very busy specially Sundays so parking inside the church lot can be difficult and street parking is sometimes tricky. Armenians celebrating wedding, baptism, funeral and etc here. Through both joyful and difficult moments , this church always felt very special to us. Even when its busy you can still find a sense of peace, comfort and spiritual connection here.
