This location is great! They are definitely working hard here. Each person that was working greeted me said hello and made sure I was taken care of. They were slow but as soon as they got there more people start coming and they were hustling they definitely read the pace of their customers and was able to meet that same pace. I love the sandwiches here I got the chicken Philly and I added a little extra meat and then I get it Mike's way with no raw onions add jalapeños add relish add banana peppers add pickles and then I get extra relish and the red wine vinegar on the side too. And they even make sure that I got extra because I asked for it the relish is delicious I could literally eat buckets of it it's so good. The place was clean was well put together the ambience is great it's like a surfing vibe in there but I think Mike's from New Jersey so maybe that's the theme. read more

Food is ok but horrible service. I have ordered online for a quick pick up and every time it is the same thing over and over. The staff sees you walk in and stand there and will ignore you. For one your food is never ready at the assigned time, which is understable if its just a couple minutes but over 10 minutes is crazy . And if your food is ready they will not acknowledge you standing there or ask for your name to hand you your order and get you out. read more

What is not heavily expected is their customer service and the fluidity of how their crew works. This specific location truly has a top tier team for a fast casual deli shop. Efficient, quick, always servicing with a smile, and just overall working together as a unit. I swear, if I still had my restaurant up and running down at Haven City Market, I would steal every single one of your employees. When you walk in, you are almost always greeted with a "welcome" and during the sandwich making process, they make sure the sandwich is made just to your liking. This store is the best location by far. I'm crazy about Jersey Mike's because of the amount of meat that they put on your sandwich. Service is usually good at other locations too, but the Ontario/Rancho store has the best team. I was impressed with how much time that one of the employees Aron (tall guy) took to make sure that my sandwich was made exactly to my liking. My husband is a huge fan of Jersey Mike's, me not so much, so 3 stars to even it out. Service is nice and the quality is better than Subway. He gets the Big Kahuna Cheese steak every time and loves it. You choice of white or wheat, hot and cold sandwiches in 3 sizes. Prices are a bit steep, but they have a loyalty club and coupons which can save a few bucks. Everything is sliced and made to order but still moves pretty fast. Best sub chain, and this new location is great! I'm so glad that Jersey Mike's opened another Rancho location on 4th and Haven. Now I don't have to go all the way to Vineyard for my fix! I think that Jersey Mike's is the hands down winner for national sandwich chains. Since they came to our area, I haven't even thought about Subway or Quiznos. I stopped in a couple nights ago to pick up sandwiches for dinner, and they did not disappoint! The service here is just as good as any of the other locations I have been to, and likewise with the quality of the finished product. Mike's must have an excellent training program to get a new location up to a high standard so fast. Even though there were two other groups ahead of me, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I went with the #13 Original Italian as usual. Basically this is every Italian style meat in the case: ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. I always get it Mike's way plus mayo. Mike's bread stands up better than any other chain bread, which is especially good considering how much oil and vinegar they put when you get it Mike's way. They always do it the same way, another testament to the training details, and make two passes back and forth shaking the bottle a specific way that loads up the sandwich. Even with all that, it isn't soggy by the time you get it home. The bread has a thicker crust to it than Subway or Quiznos and is a denser, chewier dough that I really like. There are some other really good sandwich shops that are small local chains or single store mom and pops, but for a nationwide sandwich chain, Mike's is the best! read more
