Decided to give this place another try to see if they improved since my last review. Unfortunately it's the same old story, they are SCAMMING their customers by not putting enough meats on the sandwiches. Pathetic that $20 gets you a big piece of bread with one slice of meat and two slices of cheese. Places closes at 9pm there is absolutely no reason to be greeted with nasty attitudes because staff decides they wanted to start cleaning up at 8! Walked in 8:15 to receive such unprofessional rudeness I worked a 14 hour day stopped on my way home from work to grab my family a late dinner. I worked here in highschool it takes 20-30 minutes to wrap up and clean the store we always closed at 9 left one slicer available until closing then finished and clocked out around 9:30. It's not that complex. read more

The restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are always attentive and the services always fast. There is a wide variety to choose from on the menu, but not so much that you can't make up your mind, which is nice! The sandwiches are amazing! read more

Not how it used to be. Should not even be called Jersey Mikes. I had a bad experience in the past, but figured I'd try again. Wasn't bad until the Manager is working. Might as well go to Subway for the amount of cheese and meat put on these sandwiches, as well as over charging. As well as she is very rude. Absolutely doesn't have the customers best interest in mind. I'd suggest driving to a different Jersey Mikes or find an actual "Jersey" sub shop, or maybe think about new Management that respects your customers. That's why I like Jersey Mike's in Forked River. They use fresh ingredients, the lettuce is always crisp, the tomatoes always juicy and bread is soft. They don't skimp on the fillings either. I like their tuna. It's not full of mayo, and it's not watery. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. I only wish they opened earlier on the weekends in the Summer so I could grab a sub from here to take to the beach. So go try Jersey Mike's and a real Jersey sub! read more

Enter the store and get on the assembly line. The first person you talk to is only interested in the type of bread and protein in your sandwich and they will slice a white or wheat hoagie roll and slice cold cuts or get your meat on the grill. Travel with your sandwich to the next person who takes care of your toppings and dressings and expertly wraps it in tight paper. The next stop is the friendly cashier who reminds you that you'll want drinks and chips to complete your perfect meal. Last stop is one of the tables in the store or your own lunch destination where you bite into that delicious sub that has been customized just for you. Great staff making a good sub. Place is always clean and you are always greeted with a smile and a hello.

The staff was quick and efficient. When I asked if they have gluten free bread, they checked and confirmed they did. They clarified if I have Celiac disease or a sensitivity to ensure proper precautions were taken. They were also very knowledgeable about which subs I could enjoy. The only reason I gave four stars was because it was a little unorganized in the store. read more

I am a big fan of Jersey Mike's. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The bread is fresh and the fixin's are fresh and delicious. When I have a family gathering, the guests look forward to the food catered by Jersey Mike's subs. All that being said, I have one criticism. Jersey Mike's does not pre-cut and pre-measure the meats and cheese. Thank you! However, the downside is that the quality of your sandwich is dependent upon the guy or gal behind the slicer. Sometimes there is precious little meat in the sandwich. Seems to happen a lot when it is busy. Since we always get the sandwiches to-go, we don't bother complaining. It can be hit or miss. The Manahawkin store piles on the meat - often double what Forked River provides. read more

Jersey Mike's is acceptable but like every franchise you roll the dice with them. Sometimes it seems like there's a tad too much bread in the rolls. There is no comparison with their subs and The White House in Atlantic City. And yes, I have driven an hour and a half round trip just to get one. When they hand you their sub, your arm will drop. I've had subs from a number Jersey Mike's & Lacey is the worst! The last sub I bought here was awful! Mostly bread & lettuce. I asked for more bacon & was told in a not so nice way it was an upcharge - that it required two full slices. It was more like a slice & some crumbles! Not going back there! Went with my 2 Nephews to get 4 subs. They gave us us a hard time about the sub in a tub that you couldn't substitute ham for turkey, than when I ordered two California cheese steak the woman behind the counter scolded me to just say steak. We just moved here and after a long day of unpacking we were looking for subs to feed our hungry movers and family. Since subway was out of business we asked someone who to go to. Well he said best subs are at Jersey Mikes since it is right down the street from us we gave it a go. Subs were sooooooo damn good!
