The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. Most sandwiches run from $ 11-14, but they're interesting, like a chicken cordon bleu. They do have a BLT for less and grilled cheese for under $6. I chose the turkey with mozzarella, bacon, and thousand island on a garlic roll and was really pleasantly surprised by how good it was. As far as a general store, there are really limited choices. There are maybe two cans of beans, one bottle of ketchup, a few candles sold by a local maker, but this place seems more of a a homey deli with other limited choices. I'll definitely be back!!
