I had a legal plan through work, and if you learn anything through this review, it's that those plans are worthless for probate. I had called and emailed several other firms multiple times and never received a response back. Carl got in touch with me quickly, and even spent an hour on the phone with me to determine what made the best financial sense for me before I retained his services. Carl is trustworthy, helpful, honest, and efficient and I wish it were possible to give him ten stars for the amount of stress and worry he saved me from during this process. What I really appreciated was that he made the entire experience easy to understand with clear explanations of the process and the timeline. He was also extremely helpful in navigating issues with an out of state will. Carl was a godsend and my husband and I will be using him for estate planning services as well.

Number one, I was represented by James Miller but I've never heard from him anyway, the only person who I was in contact with was the receptionist. In the end, I paid for their services, ended up paying the charge on my ticket, and my ticket was not amended in anyway and it's still on my record and insurance several years later. For a lawyer to screw that up was disgraceful and embarrassing. At trial, despite having proof that my ex had stolen $80K and hidden it, my attorney's timidity and disorganization lead to that information not being presented to the judge. I was in horror as I watched the firm blow the case. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your legal representation.

He will sweet talk you at the start of your case only to deliver a nightmare. He doesn't reply to emails. He doesn't care about you. He won't protect you. Near the end of my case he tried to force me to settle with the following terms: $0 child support Tax credit alternating years + Parent coordinator (which I did not want) $0 legal fees Patrick and I had a disagreement over those terms. I called him lazy and he withdrew from my case leaving me without a lawyer 3 weeks before trial. After Patrick withdrew from my case, because he couldn't handle being called lazy, I obtained a new lawyer and the case was settled with the following terms: $710 child support Tax credit EVERY year NO Parent coordinator $5000 Legal fees I don't even understand why a supposedly legitimate attorney would have tried to force me to settle on much worse terms, especially after I paid him tens of thousands of dollars. I gave Patrick over $20,000 to do absolutely nothing for me. He only cares about his money and he will not help you. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO HIRE THIS SHADY, LAZY, MONEY HUNGRY, UNTRUSTWORTHY ATTORNEY!!!

I am not a lawyer but I have worked as support staff in the legal industry for many years. I know how law offices run. You have to be patient and most people are not willing to cultivate that virtue. If you are patient, your case will receive the attention it deserves at the time it is necessary. That is just the facts in the industry. What many people don't realize is that every time you contact your attorney, you get billed for it. It is a business, not a charity. If you go to a much larger firm, they will have someone that can take your calls daily and write volumes of emails and you will pay handsomely for it. I was patient, I contacted Amy only when necessary and I took Amy's advice. In the end I got EVERYTHING I wanted in my divorce. I got SOLE legal custody, SOLE physical custody and all of the assets awarded to me in my divorce. It took 20 months from start to finish. It was a highly contested divorce and wasn't going to go fast no matter who my attorney may have been. My ex racked up the same amount of attorney bills in 5 months that Amy billed me for a year's work!! I was referred to her by another lawyer I worked with previously. When my case concluded I texted him that I couldn't thank him enough for recommending Amy. I will recommend her to anyone who is unfortunate enough to need an expert in family law.
