How often has any of you noticed a nail tech grab the same nail files, rotary sand discs and polishers, brushes, cuticle nippers, clippers etc. get used repeatedly, one client after the next? What a great way to spread foot/nail fungus! WAC 308-20-110:-WA.gov ALL TOOLS AND IMPLEMENTS MUST BE CLEANED AND DISINFECTED OR DISPOSED OF AFTER SERVICE ON EACH CLIENT. Tools and implants not approved for disinfection and reuse must be given to the client or discarded after service on each client. I gave this salon 3 chances. Just happened to be in the area and it's surprisingly nice and clean! I didn't have reservation, but I called if I can come on last minute. I got accommodated in a few minutes. The guy who did my pedi was very proficient. He knew what he was doing and he did a great job doing my pedi and I was out of there just in time for my other appointment somewhere else. I have had pedicures there before and was pleased with the service. However, I went to get a fill from them and regretted walking in the door. They did not put any primer on, did not extend the acrylic to the end of my nails, and in a day, I had 2 chipping nails. I called and they got me in to repair after day 1, they sanded down my nail and tried to just put polish on. After several discussions they "fixed" 1 nail- they should've fixed all! After a week I have 4 nails left that have not had chips. I spent $50 for a crap fill! Now I have to go to another place and spend another $50 to make this right. I should not have to tell the nail tech how to do their job and I shouldn't be made to feel like I'm crazy because I wanted my nails to last longer than a day. NEVER GOING BACK !! read more

They really want you to love your nails when you walk out. And unlike most other nail salons, they stick to their schedule, don't overbook and don't make you wait! My appointment was for 2:00. I was seated at 2:15 but then was asked to move to another chair to allow the technician to work on another client who had an appointment at 2:15. They stuck my hands in a bowl of acetone at 2:20. Another technician worked on removing my old dip (that was fine with me). The first technician then interrupted his work on the other client, asking her to wait as he worked on my nails. Apparently the other two technicians there needed to take a break (one laid back in a pedicure chair). All three technicians spoke to each other in their native language (not English) the entire time I was there. I tried to initiate a conversation a couple of times but they were clearly not interested. The dip manicure is mediocre with just two layers of dip and one coat of polish. There is dip material slopped onto my cuticles. They did not use clean implements. There was material from a previous manicure on the clippers. This was a disappointing experience. Two days later I have two broken nails. Obviously two dips did not strengthen the nails enough. read more

I went in a week before Valentine's Day . I called a week before and made an appointment well in advance . Got there at my appointment and I asked the nail tech if she could do a specific design . She kinda brushed me off and proceeded to start on my nails. Once it came to the design I showed her five more times and she didn't do the design and kept brushing me . Once I showed her again she let me know she wasn't able to do this design . I had to switch up my whole entire design last minute . She messed up my nails . A week later on Valentine's Day they started to pop off . I paid almost $90 for a week worth of bad nails . The lady was extremely rude and I don't think I have ever been treated that badly . Went when first opened and loved it. Then received service from a young man who was very aggressive in his cuticle work. Kept hurting me. Kept telling him to stop but he ignored me until I forcibly yanked my foot away. Several months later my preferred salon was closed so I made appt, at Jennys.. What are the chances-----SAME GUY! I thought maybe he had improved. Gave him another chance. Big mistake! Hurt both my big toes to the point of drawing blood. Took 3 weeks and antibiotic cream to fix. I was able to get an appointment at 4pm on Labor Day Monday, but the next appointment arrived & was scheduled at 4:15p. Another person was scheduled at 4:30pm. They only had 3 people working and the chairs were full when I arrived. They were obviously over-booked & overwhelmed. The person doing my pedicure skipped my cuticles completely & I could see spots of the old color after the polish was drying & realized what was happening. The person doing my manicure cut my finger with the nail clippers. I think this could be a great salon if they booked enough time for each service & don't try to rush through it. The nail salon is new & has a nice atmosphere. A pedicure was $50 for shellac which is definitely more expensive than the other shops. The woman who did my nails was very nice but rushed the whole time she did my pedi and my full set. I had made an appointment prior to coming in & they told me they didn't have enough time to do powder on my nails just color... most nail salons over book and this is one of them unfortunately. I thought finally I've found somewhere to get my nails done! The first time I was there Johnny was fantastic. Not all thick and bubbly like some have done.. beautiful!! The second time he was busy and I had to see someone else. No problem right?! WRONG!! I had one missing nail and was in for a fill. The guy started filing and filing not to mention burnt me a number of times. The filing continued until they were so thin that when he feathered the remnants the nails caved and were crooked.
