She helped us reconnect as a couple while experiencing life challenges. We also trust this practice with our daughter's art therapy. Over the past several years we have seen 4 therapist at Cypress and each one was a caring interaction that helped us move forward. I also find the booking process to be very easy to work with. Thanks to all of the great resources at Cypress!

I inquired with this company confirming they took my insurance…read more They reassured me they did. it took a week to line up a phone interview to make sure we were the right fit for the right therapist. Phone interview went well. We had our first session. The therapist then reached out to me saying my insurance was inactive. I questioned the therapist "Why hasn't your company reached out.". Mind you, 5 weeks went by since our first interview via phone. I was told 3 days before our next appointment that I was still inactive and they were going to cancel my daughter's appointment. Again, I questioned why since I called my insurance and they reassured me we were in network. After many conversations, I was then told we dont take EAP. I wasted so much time and effort finding someone then telling me they won't take me on. I was beyond fed up. They then tried to tell me they would take the EAP to satisfy me. Please make sure you have your office/paying source in place. This was beyond frustrating and did not appreciate your staff blaming the insurance or dealing with a third party for your paying source. This is very unfortunate.

A CHIROPRACTOR'S REVIEW of Dr. Desulme: During a recent…read morevisit to from Knoxville, TN, my "back went out" or seemingly so--more on that in a moment. I looked on Yelp as it is my Go-To search app during out of town adventures. I searched and read many Chiropractic reviews before calling Dr. D. One of my main criteria was to find a physician who attended a school that I felt was highly reputable educationally (e.g., having attended Parker or Palmer schools). The other criteria was to find a Chiropractor whom I trusted would not take advantage of the "moment" (me being in significant pain and being from out of town). As a fellow chiropractor I can tell you that they come in all varieties. Some have their heart in the right place while others can be $ mercenaries. It became obvious to me early in the process that Dr. D has a caring spirit. Had I felt otherwise, I would have turned around and walked out--and highly recommend the same for anyone seeking care. [As for this gentleman, if you are looking for a healing hand and spirit, he fits the bill completely.] ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE: As a chiropractor, one of my flaws is "self-diagnosing" myself. I went in thinking S-I joint issues--even tho I taught my wife how to perform a couple of tests on me that came up negative. Dr. D performed a series of tests and had other thoughts. After reviewing some x-rays, his evaluation of the images matched his Ortho findings. He adjusted my lower lumbar spine and worked on my psoas muscle. There was noticeable relief. I returned the following day. We discussed a previous injury to my knee which had notable scar tissue. He felt that may have played a role in my back pain as I had developed some compensatory movement in my gait. I had a Duh-moment as I had honestly never made that connection. But, he was spot on. At any rate, by the time he performed some manual therapy on it, my range of motion showed significantly noticeable improvement. Dr. D is well-educated, possessing great patient skills, insightfulness and tools in his toolbox for healing whatever ails you. I would highly recommend him to my family, friends and patients.
