I needed a new professional headshot. Before our session, Lacey took the time to discuss with me…read morewhat kind of headshot I wanted. She was very thorough to make sure that my headshot was what I was envisioning. Rather than her already having a plan of how the headshot would look like, she asked me how I wanted others to perceive me and how I would describe myself as an individual. She really let me drive how I wanted the headshot to look like. During the session, Lacey was very reassuring, patient, and kind. She made sure I felt comfortable and checked in with how I was feeling. When I was able to view and choose my final headshot, I was amazed at the selection. Lacey had captured everything in our discussion! Due to my work in the nonprofit sector, I had said that I wanted to look confident, yet humble. I wasn't sure if it'd be able to come across in a headshot... but Lacey caught it perfectly. Even my colleagues describe my headshot in the same way I chose to describe myself. I highly recommend Lacey to anyone if they are looking for personalized, professional, and unique photographs.

Lacey was absolutely WONDERFUL…read more During our first appointment, she asked us about our vision for the engagement photos because she wanted to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. I'm bad at things like that, but we knew we wanted our photos to showcase the desert because my husband and I met and fell in love here in Tucson. She also gave us some guidance for what outfits to wear, and what to expect on the day of the photos. The day we took the photos, Lacey took us to the most perfect spot with lots of grass, cactus, and beautiful views of the mountains... It fit our request for incorporating the desert perfectly! I was really nervous because I'm not exactly a model, but Lacey was so helpful with poses, and her directions were easy to follow and made for some gorgeous photos. It was amazing how efficient she was! The time flew by, and we had a great time with lots of laughs. Lacey has a way of making people feel very comfortable, even when a camera is pointing at them! A couple of weeks later, Lacey had us come into the studio to view our pictures. She made a slide show (set to music!) of all of our photos. They were so. beautiful. We had a hard time choosing our favorites! She gave us lots of time to look at the photos and choose our favorites. Then she worked some kind of magic on them, because when we got our order a couple of weeks after that, they were even more gorgeous than when we picked them out earlier. She perfectly captured our love for each other and the desert. Lacey is an artist, and she puts so much care and love into the work she does. As a customer, I could definitely tell that Lacey cared about me and my needs, which I appreciated so much! If you need portraits done for you or your family, you should definitely give her a call!!

Throughout the process, the team at Elegant was communicative, transparent, and very fair. Daniel spent 2hrs with us to bang out a bulletproof day-of timeline, which helped calm our week-of jitters. On the day of our wedding, we had unexpected weather (snow in March, can you believe), which fully changed the music setup. Daniel brought backup equipment and completely rerouted his system to accommodate a 160 person wedding that was meant to be outdoors that was now indoors in an extremely tight space. This required a DJ setup in 3 different locations on-site. In addition, despite a coordinator who did not show up until it was close to ceremony time, Daniel and his team took initiative to step up in that person's place to keep the show moving. Without Daniel and his team, we are confident our wedding would not have been nearly as successful as it was. We will definitely sing Elegant's praises for years to come. Thanks so much Daniel!

We looked through each photographers portfolio, but found ourselves going back to Josh's. Once we realized that we were comparing the other photographers work to Josh's, we knew that we had to choose Josh. From the moment I contacted Josh, I knew that we had chosen the right photographer to capture our daughters wedding. Not only are his credentials impeccible, he was organized and and made everything seamless and we NEVER worried. From the very beginning, Josh was prompt in answering all of our emails and took the time to answer all of our questions. Due to COVID, we had to postpone the wedding a year and Josh was very understanding and sympathetic and had no issue with moving the date out. On the day of the wedding, he and his wife Nicole spent the entire day/evening making sure to not only capture every moment, he was also able to get all of the shots that we had requested. He took our vision and brought it to life and we couldn't be more grateful. Twenty minutes before the wedding was to begin, Josh impressed us again when we were informed that the DJ had not shown up. Through all the chaos, panic and tears, Josh made the unfortunate situation bearable with his jovial personality and his positive energy and warmth. Both he and his wife Nicole were very approachable and made everyone feel at ease. Despite capturing weddings for over 20 years, we were amazed by his continued passion and excitement. He is immensely skilled and creative - don't expect a checklist of cliché wedding photos with Josh, he has true vision and is not just a guy going through the motions. Josh looks to capture your unique story through his artistic lens. Josh is not just a photographer, he is an artist. His work is timeless and his ability to use light to capture different elements of a scene is a talent that cannot be learned - it is truly a gift. Overall, Josh managed to capture EVERY aspect of our daughters special day. We were mesmerized by the sneak peek images we received just days after the wedding and we cannot wait to see more. We are blown away by his ability to capture the true essence of who Nina and Caleb are as a couple, as well as as individuals. We were very lucky to have Josh as a part of our daughters wedding day. We were most impressed with his ability to convey their story; he captured every moment as if he'd had been a part of their lives forever. We could not be happier with the results. Any couple looking to truly tell their story needs to look no further than Josh Sailor!!! ~ Jason & Renee Mossotti
