Dr blew us off and prescribed medicine for an enlarged prostate that he DID NOT HAVE. The "injured bladder" was actually stage 4 bladder cancer, and my husband is now dead. You would think a urology Dr who specializes in urinary cancers would know, this is his "SUPPOSED AREA OF EXPERTISE" DO NOT TRUST THIS DR.

He was upset that he hadn't seen me sooner. He knew exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done quickly. 2 weeks after my 1st appointment, I had surgery. His office staff was professional and had the pre operation procedure to get you prepared. Surgery went great and I was kept the night after. For once, the HFH worked well getting me home therapy and follow-up. The only problem and it was huge and very painful, was when I had my 1st post-op visit. They tried to take over 35 metal staples out of my back WITHOUT numbing the area. I STOPPED them and refused to go on without being numbed. They acted like this could not be done. Finally they tried to numb it, but I refuse to go on without being numbed correctly. Instead of about 20 minutes, it took them 90 minutes with 3 different people doing it. This is more the normal level I have seen in my health care from HFH. Dr. Selfies, is 5 star. He followed up with tests to see if I was healing and cared about my back and how I was feeling. Henry Ford Healthcare is at best 2.5 stars. I have only found a few doctors that do individual medicine. Most just do the procedure that works for 90% of patients but not ones like me that have lists of problems.

Their 24/7 emergency line is quick and efficient. From the newborn crying phone calls to 104 degree fevers and ER trips, they set a plan of action and always reassure they are with you every step of the way. I wish we could rate them higher. We have had nothing but incredible experiences with every single pediatrician in this practice. After our sons first day of PT/OT therapy, Dr. Ober called to see how we were doing. After every late night emergency line call, they have called to follow up/check in with us in the morning. They care about your child and know your family well. They go above and beyond and it is comforting and reassuring your child is truly in the best hands. Thank you for all of your care and support!
